When studing the bible one ask who is speaking and to whom is He speaking. You must also understand in what tense was the speaking speaking e.g. present tense, past tense etc. Not everything in the bible is for Christians. If tongues is between you and God why must everyone hear it? And prophecy is to edify the church so when there is no interpretation how can the church be edification take place? Obedience is better than sacrifice..
