This segregation and special treatment needs to end. Everyone involved in the treaty is long dead and its only creating divides. On the one side you have some Maori who are trying their best to extract every dollar from the rest of society in a racially beneficial manner. On the other hand you have people from all walks of life feeling less ‘Kiwi’ because they’re being alienated even if they have roots and have lived here forever who are funding racially discriminating programs. Help should be based on socio-economics always. Whoever that effects.
Waitangi Day is now a day of shame because it’s been high jacked by racist maori extremists. It’s time government pulled out of going there and we called it New Zealand day where we celebrate being New Zealanders. No more racial division. The major problem we have in Christchurch is National and Brownlee F'uped peoples lives with a botched EQC rebuild. Labour provided a life line, Labour MP's helped many of us, and reduced court cases with good mediation and claims settlement. Now we are stuck with the loonie left entrenched in local council and Christchurch MP's. We don't want National back in Christchurch but we also MUST now get ride of the left, and there speed bumps and ratepayer money wasting. What do we do. Even NZ First told me at the time (pre 2017 election) that they where happy to leave it up to the courts, cost us thousands.

The identification of race, or sex is no sin. The application of prejudice based on that identification is a sin and a crime if based on untruth, slander and libel laws cover that off.Truth never requires redemption. In a democracy those choosing to create distinction based on race or sex are breaking down democracy which has as a cornerstone equality and to disturb that equality is to pursue supremacy. Not a democratic ideal at all.
