Thanks for the review! I just bought smilla sweater pattern, its similar to this one you did :) and I'm looking forward to start this new project soon 😍
Thanks for the clever idea of going up a needle size for the color work rows! And how is it that you always have so many finished objects? You must knit lightning fast, LOL 😊
I knit a lot! If I sit, I knit. My kids are very active with ballet and swimming, so I end up waiting for them a good bit. Glad I had a helpful tip! :)
I am going to have to review the pattern. Are you talking about after you knit the top part of the back, place them on waste yarn, then you pick up and knit the right and left shoulder sections, then you join those across the front and knit down until the armhole depth is correct. Then you'd join the front and back sections, creating armholes, and begin knitting in the round. Does that make any sense??? 🤣
I am also on etsy and I am from India , how can I contact you so that we can help each other in growing ourselves. As my main product market is USA, so how can I contact you? Your mail id or anything you want to share to contact you ?
All of your sweaters are so beautiful! I haven’t done a steeked cardigan yet, but I have though about it. Your ramblin woman cardigan and your highway sunset are my favorites! I think the ribbed collar on the ramblin woman needs to be taller in order for the square neckline to work for it.
I really can’t wait to see your cardi v neck when it’s finished. I think it’s so beautiful & it looks so cozy! Your squares look great, too 😊 I’ve enjoyed seeing your weekly uploads!
Thanks! i am excited about the cardi v neck too. I've been trying to get in a consistent recording schedule. I like regular podcasts too. I'd love to see you do podcasts :)
@@GracefullyUnraveled That Dark and Stormy color is very every day wearable and I want something that kind of replaces a sweatshirt. I was thinking that the little plus signs in the pattern might be fun in Matcha :)
Love how your cardi v-neck & the cabled sweater Are coming along. I also love the flowers & dirt colorway! Going to try out those book suggestions! PS- Thanks for helping me get through folding clothes!
Hi, Gabie. I like your Half and Half shawl. I also like the V-Neck sweater. I highly recommend The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. She has also written The Four Winds.
I’ve just recently started listening to audiobooks for “fun” again & started with a series called Black Water Ranch. It’s a Christian romance series, which is very different from the genre that you talked about tonight 😂 It’s been okay so far. I’m not really sure what the right type of genre is for me. Lol
I've been reading or listening to (I love audiobooks!) different stuff lately. I feel like my tastes are changing. I've done a couple of nonfiction books this summer. One was a about a guy living with monks and the other is about a guy walking through Central America. I was surprised how interested I was in those books.
Usually when I watch a movie I have my knitting with me so that I can have something else to focus on if the movie gets too intense. Usually is the case for action movies or movies with a lot of violence. Because I’m a chicken. 😅😂 I always feel like I will have more time in summer, too. Then it turns out that I have less time!
Hi thank you so much for this tutorial. If ever a pattern needed this, it wld be Rose. I started out knitting this thinking it was going to be extremely challenging but happily it is straightforward. My biggest complaint is that too many terms were used for seaming: facing out, exposed/unexposed, right sides together. Anyway, I bumbled thru it and watched this video to make sure that the collar was sewn with u UNexposed seams. Pls confirm! It looked like it in the video. To help me understand the pattern better I read all the notes of finished projects. One knitter had the same problem of bunchiness at the centre back collar. She frogged0 hers and advised to knit as many rows as possible after the cable so that the 3 needle cast off would not be so thick. But as u say, it’s not a dealbreaker, especially if u have long hair. Cheers.
Yes. It sounds like you did it right. It was a little tricky but it is cute and cozy. I'd love to see yours. Do you have an instagram or ravelry where you post your knitting?
Hi Gabi! Loved the color of the sweater. I've already started on my sweater and reached the point where I have to bind off the front ribing. However, I got stuck on the way of binding off the 1st 4 knit stitches. All the RU-vid videos I saw was on the ribing only but no one mentioning how to cast off knit stitches using the Italian way. Can you please help me on this? How did you bind off that part?
So sorry I am just seeing your comment!! We went on a family vacation and I am just getting back into things here at home. Did you get the bind off figured out?
Hi, Gabie. Your Habitation Throw and your sweater are both lovely. I also like your cardigan… I hope that you find your design directions. Your sweater WIP looks great. The sock WIPs are cute… I love hand-knit socks. I love the flowers and dirt yarn that you are using for the half triangle wrap.
