I love making videos that teach people how to get their ideas out of their heads and into their computers-and then out into the world where they can be heard by everyone who's ready to listen. Of course, it's not all about the gear: there's an art to producing good music that goes beyond just having the right equipment (though that helps!). I've been making music since I was a teenager, and I'm still learning new things every day.
DillioT2K is a place where we review software, equipment, and offer tips on how to get better at making music. We'll also be sharing great content from independent artists and producers-including interviews with some of us who are out there doing it for ourselves.
I have one. It sounds beautiful and is packed with features and sounds. However, it is difficult to use, the surround is useless, the menuing system will make you suicidal and always reminds me that I should have gotten a Nord. No software to edit, unless you have Apple products. It's a nice thought, but a major fail on the execution. Roland was so close to having a real hit on their hands.
Wait did I miss the song breakdown? Where was it? I never heard a mention of "E flat" which is odd because, you know, that's the key the song is in... 🤷
I've watched this before. I know what it is. Part of me regrets clicking on it because now youtube will recommend a ton of videos from 10+ years ago... but otherwise it's worth a rewatch.
I have a few ideas I think they should implicate like a lockscreen like a phone has where it locks all the buttons and screen turns dark like a phone but still plays your beat or sequence. Tha way if you had to get up and travel from point A to point B wherever you are and nit have to turn off the machine completely or disturb the present beat. I also think we should be able to personalize moving screen savers. Also I think ot would be cool if you could live stream the beat or session kinda do like a screen share and share the mpc with another mpc user sand colab online in real-time if you feel where I'm coming from, kinda use passing it back and forth making a track together through Wi-Fi. 😮
Peace brother I wanted to tell you yes you can play while muted and turn this feature on and off you can simply go to where it says auto and out it to in that way it mutes the midi but you can still play your notes hope that might help.
So it wasn't just me I didn't sign up for Beat club thought about it I had a bad feeling tho 🤔 that type of feeling GOD give me when something don't make sense or seem a little off 🙏🏾 I'm good ill keep it moving its not meant for me 🙌🏽

Im new to maschine....I compared the studio and mk3, and tbh, theres was such a minimal amount of difference from my requirements - didnt seem to be much i couldnt do in the studio that the mk3 would do.
purchased a couple of these just because of the nice RF readout. The sound quality is dog shit. It can easily give you ear fatigue if a person speaks on it for more than 15 minutes. I bought it for my karaoke gigs. Nice review though.
Dillio.....The Akai Community is overlooking that, the newer improvements that are mandatory to along with 3.0....these are a MODULAR/UPGRADABLE Units to carryover into the years to come😮.On a technological level Akai, must be in the forefront to take on privy information within the industry to stay ahead of the curve. By us.. witnessing the inception of the MPC X ,to their successors, ideally a Novel Software isn't entirely the solution, the harmony is the units .We need to advocate for better quality units as in the EASKI Era....Peace again....

@@HubertCopeland-mu3ehyou are kinda sounding like a snob, the current gen mpc’s sound really good you just have to know how to adjust certain parameters and understand how the plug ins work . Easki is partnered with a company that mods this current gen mpc so of course he’s gonna tell you that they suck out of the box. You can mod your mpc but it isn’t going to make your music better, using your brain and learning will yield far better quality
