All the way to Navasota will take planning. 😀 Have to check the construction on 249 also, think most of it is done. 1000+ subscribers would help also. Thanks for watching.
I visited The galleria but found it horrible with all the people now going there from bad neighborhoods. You don’t feel safe but guarding your belongings because of those people

4:23 I don’t see as much point of having these yielding lights if when you get the chance to start going under the bridge you get the green arrow right away anyway
Love watching the I-45 north drives. Used to live off of West Road. When I was a kid I-45 was just 4 lanes (2 each way) with a 2 way feeder road on each side. Man have times changed.
Unless necessitated for something (probably to see the largest Buc-ee's in the country just outside Luling - big city nonsense for the smaller towns)....pretty unusual route from Houston to Austin taking 183.....makes for a long drive.....have driven the portion of 183 many times for travel from Austin to the Gulf Coast for oil and gas work....but most of my trips from Austin to Houston (and vice versa the same route) usually include Hwy 71 through La Grange and to Columbus to get on IH10 for Houston and sometimes 290 route depending where in Houston need to be...
We wanted to stop at the new Largest Buc-ee's at Luling. We thought it would make some great footage, but as you can see at the (2 hour 12 minute) entrance and parking was horrendous that day.
I grew up near the West Road exit from '65 to '90 when I left Houston. So much has changed. This drive used to be nothing but grass fields. Cattle ranches. Very little development. We would go this way to see the Goodyear blimp.
Hey Sammy and Eddie 👋 Started watching your videos. Love this Woodland Trails video. I'd wanted to ride this trail awhile back but forgot about it. I'm retired and love to do urbex on my ebike. I'm in Katy. I can show you guys some cool places for your videos. It'll be awesome to ride some trails and do some urbex with y'all. I have an Insta360 One X2 and a Skydio 2 drone that can help with your content.
@steddiesteps Right on, bro. I had wiped out on my ebike a couple of months back and smashed my first Insta360 One X2. I was going to upgrade to an X3, but I had several extra batteries and other stuff that's not compatible with an X3. I only use the cam for safety reasons and to capture my rides to share with families or to record places of interest.
👍 n sub'd. Thanks bro for the tour! Wow, sure brought back a lot of memories. I had worked at this Houston GPO 1997-2000. Got a bid to the Bear Creek station, then held several Executive Administrative Level positions at the North Houston P&DC headquarters where I had retired in 2021. For nostalgia, I need to visit the Post Market, although I'm not impressed with what was done with the GPO. There seems to be so much wasted space.
