Katie, Kevin & Doggies (Deesel & Jay) We have upgraded our weekend RV set up to the new 2021 Super C Thor Magnitude SV34 for the purpose of camping and of course, hauling our toys. What's a trip without any toys!? With a Built Ford Tough f550 Chassis and 4x4, we take you to all the boondocking/RV park locations we like to camp. Along the way we will go through all the specs and amenities this rig has to offer. Join us on our journey as we use our new RV rig to take us on our weekend adventures throughout the different outdoor seasons & activities. From off-roading desert season to boating lake season, we'll take you there. Our jobs do not allow us to RV full time, but we definitely make the weekends worth the week day hustle.

Thanks for the boat ride! We're thinking about taking our boat to Lake Roosevelt. It's kind of far away from Tucson, but... Better than Lake Powell! I have a question on the 7.3. I know you had Rancho 9000's on the Magnitude, but you took them off. What do you use on the 7.3? I have 7.3 3/4 ton and the Rancho 9000's seem to be too harsh for it.
I stayed there over Easter weekend, if the river front sites are booked your staying in a dirty dusty overflow area, I was thoroughly disappointed, campground has 7 PAGES of rules, cell - internet service is non-existence, rates noted online are not even close to actual cost and food was good but crazy expensive... never again
Awe thats a bummer you had a bad experience. We enjoyed all of our stays havent had an issue. Hopefully you can find the right fit if you try it out again
I was just thinking about you two today while I was riding my bicycle! I hadn't seen a video in a long time... Now that's a camping spot I would love!! No people!! Pirate's Cove!! Time to put the Can Am away and get out the boat! I'm looking forward to summer!!!
Not to sound like one of those know-it-all people, but if you'd like to measure the depth of something that caliper he's using can do that too, it has a little protruding rod coming from the bottom that is meant for that job. Just stick it into whatever you're trying to measure the depth of and bottom it out and it'll tell you the depth.
If you guys want to stop dealing with the recurring schwintek slide issues there’s a company called Vroom slides and they make a direct retrofit for our slides that they’ll install and they’re much more robust and reliable. Everybody who has them loves them, so I’m strongly considering ditching these schwinteks and going for Vrooms. I think for our Thors with super slides it’s between $3000-$5000 installed. Just thought I’d throw that out there :)
I watched your video and review and decided to try them on the front, I have installed them, but haven't really driven on them yet. I was thinking of buying the rear as well and decided to re-watched the video. I think either you or I installed the front ones incorrectly. The directions state to have the stud towards the front of the vehicle, but it looks like you put the stud towards the inside. In any case, I doubt it makes much of difference since the stud is only like 3/4" from the bolt anyhow. If you think that I was incorrect, please let me know and I can always just rotate mine. Thanks for the video.
Hi, welcome to the channel and thanks for taking your time to reach out. We had to run back out to the rig to check and youre right we may have done it incorrectly 😅 so far no issues though. They're still holding up great! Youll love it!
This is an unknowing women trying to look smart, the 14000 GVWR is not the weight of the trailer, then she gave up when she could not understand the sticker in door. Than truck and trailer is about 12 000 to 13 000 pound, if her super C towing capacity is 20 000 they are not pushing that much to the limit, like she keep saying the entire video.
Hi Gil, Thanks for taking your time to view the video and leaving your feedback. Our Super C model is a 2020 SV34 with a tow rating of 10K. The curt hitch we used has a 20K capacity to carry the 14K trailer. Hope that helps you out. Thanks again for taking time out of your schedule to review and leave a comment.
Brother, speaking as technician of many many years under my belt and now retired, I'm gonna warn you guys, a differential is a very touchy component...it's either perfect or it's gonna start wearing out, there's no such thing as "wearing in", you either have the "hash pattern" perfect or she'll start the self-destruction process immediately, you may not hear it now, but put a few miles on her and like a terrible wife, she'll start whining sooner than you think...there aren't many people that can do diffs...doing a diff and getting it right on with the correct "crush", it's an art form to say the least...so good luck to ya, but that "almost on center" hash marks comment I heard from you in the video....won't cut it...🤷♂️
Oh yeah youre totally correct. But we have to start somewhere to learn the process. There arent many people, but maybe we can end up being the few out there to keep the art form going. We can only trust the process 🙏
