Hey! My name is Sam. I make RU-vid videos, as you can probably guess. Most of my crap is on TF2, but I do dabble in other games occasionally.
To contact me for business stuff, please do so over Discord: Samwiz1#9091
Here's some links for convenience: Twitch Channel - www.twitch.tv/samwiz1 Discord Server - discord.gg/PufWxWJ TF2 Server - 198.143.145.202 I host a pretty lively community of goons that just waste time playing games together, but we usually have a fun time doing it. Thanks for being here, and I hope you enjoy my stuff! :D
I watched this video when I first started playing tf2. Because of this video, I thought jailbreak was a fun gamemode where prisoners try to revolt against guards and have to use secret tunnels and such to have an edge against the guards. I was sorely mistaken and was the worst tf2 experience of my life almost equal to getting 360 headshot by bots.
2 years ago I saw this as I was fixed with history. (History nerd). I eventually saw the original and it caused me to snowball into team fortress 2. All I have to say is. Thank you.
Can you do this again but... When the real countries where they came from😅 Like heavy is from russia and scoutwell nobody knows what country is from😅 In soldier is from america doctor is from germany In engineer is from texas Spice from france the others i don't know oh i know somebody spice from africa
I have a suggestion for something that you could try. Get an engineer killed by uncloaking and undisguising on the other side of him so that his sentry shoots at you but he’s in the way and dies.
I remeber one thing about Dinosour Dan and it was this rockclimbing episode, the show was good if I remember correctly, but I need to rewatch it to make shure. (sorry for bad english I typed this in 10 seconds)
6:18 i think there is a point where complaining goes from genuine concern to just being a dick about it, Its eric smith and a contractor who works on the game, and that's it, and eric smith to my knowledge only approves of the community stuff, it took 1 guy 2 years to fix a game as held together by spaghetti like tf2 on their own, this isn't a large or even small dev team doing nothing, its 2 guys doing about as much as they can, the contractor to my knowledge wasn't even hired for tf2 but asked to do it, the bots were not 1 lone issue, they were the issue, people weren't dpomg ot for a fresh update to the game, Savetf2 and fixtf2's express purposes were to get rid of bots and show valve people love this game, this isn't "valve" doing this, this is most literally 1 guy who decided to work on tf2, when you treat individuals as corporations your doing really nothing but discrediting the one guy, also the 4chan scout cosplayer i find really funny cause the alternative is "this guy has been standing there for over a hour" and they just think they're weird, which rather than a conspiracy that they were told to avoid them, it kinda makes more sense the single guy outside the building who apparently only had a loosely related sign and seemingly wasn't saying anything, is probably going to be weird, and they're avoiding eye contact to not get their attention lmao
I have played TF2 for a long ass time, the skin of my minecraft account is inspired by TF2 characters like Saxton Hale. Valves neglect for what in all rational thinking is an incredibly popular game with a strong community and limitless potential makes me angry. However I also understand Valve's position, as a Minecraft RU-vidr who makes complex redstone builds I often publish designs on my channel that are incredibly cool and popular, but they are too complex for the average minecraft player to understand. I get swamped daily with messages from people asking me how to build things, how to get my things to work, etc, and honestly it is exhausting. The transaction I have with my audience feels like it should be pretty straight forward, I make the thing, explain it in a video and try to teach some concepts in science, engineering and mathematics then apply that knowledge to minecraft redstone. Then I offer the thing I made as a free download for people to explore and enjoy. However the reality is that my viewers are always left wanting more, they want to build the thing, use the thing, all without investing the effort to understand how it works so inevitably they are left frustrated and disatisified when the thing doesn't work and they have no idea why and when they contact me to ask for help I am unwilling to guide hundreds of people through troubleshooting a thing they fundamentally don't understand. If my position is anything like Valve's, having created a thing that is incredibly popular with a massive community of people rallying behind. I can honestly understand them not wanting to engage with the community and fix the product. If making games is the passion of a developer then TF2 is just an old project for which they no longer feel passionate about, and so who are we to force them to care about it?
Well thats what basically happened to me. I remember that i played tf2 daily and one day i saw a weird sniper on mercenary park who spammed „good shot mate” voice line. IF i remember correctly, they didnt aimbot at this time, jest walk around, spam and they would leave. But as we know, that changed. As days passed, there were more and more bots. I thought „valve will do something about it soon, right? Its a pretty big problem. They have to” But they didnt. The months passed, the bots were still there without any signs of bot hosters getting tired. I still loved the Game but the more matches i played against cheaters the more tired i got. Then, something in me snapped. I uninstalled the Game, left a negative rewiev and moved on. It was in 2019 I stood up With the News/RU-vid if anything changed. Now when the game is playabable i Think its to late for me to enjoy it again. I just dong Trust valve anymore
To clarify, I'm not defending the insane price, but it is not what you alledge it to be. Many steam games have similar presentations of their price (with a -X% money sign) when looking at their DLC prices. This is NOT an artificial sale where it's presented as if it is a limited time sale or similar lies. This is an actual deal, subjective opinion on how good a deal it is aside.
I just noticed that the music in the intro is from the old RTS game ‘Rise of Nations’. I’ve been playing it all my life, so as soon as I heard it, my PTSD triggered.
