Ok but what if there’s already a full drawer in there, and the installer just hacked off the end of a 2x4 and nail gunned it on the bottom of the drawer/rails to keep it from opening? How tf do I get that 2x4 off and WHY THE HELL DID THEY DO THAT.
Very informative, shows a new way to install drawers on the bottom of the cabinet What slides are you using and are the feet from the same manufacturer or are they universal so they will fit numerous slides?
Bought these drawers and slides from Myk and it worked out great. They took a little longer for me to install due to already having a bathroom countertop in place above the cabinets which gave me less room/visibility to work. In the end, they worked out great. My wife loves them, and shes happy that her bathroom finally has "actual drawer". And she was pleasantly surprised when she found out about the soft close!
Hello, where do I buy a drawer to put in a cabinet where a "false drawer front is"? the website Www.pulloutslikeapro.com is for "pull out drawers" that fit inside a cabinet that has doors. thanks
Tony, in bathrooms a lot of time the plumbing is off to one side or the other. By leaving the stile in I'm usually able to put 2 rollouts on 1 side and 1 on the other. If you take the stile out you are limited to just 1 on the bottom. Also, a lot of times it is really hard to cut the top of the stile because the sink is in the way. Less of a problem if there are false fronts above the doors, but not always the case.As far as using feet, if you can't get a slide all the way to the back of the cabinet like under a kitchen sink where the plumbing for the dishwasher can be in the way or if there's electrical stuff in the way I find using feet easier and sturdier than trying to attach the slide to the side of the cabinet unless it's a European style cabinet. If you remove a stile, you have to mount the slides behind the face frame. On the bottom of the cabinet and if it has a full shelf I find it quicker to mount using feet rather than mounting something behind the frame to mount the slides to. I actually rarely use feet anymore, but I always have them with me when I'm installing.
on your website video you state not to remove a stile for bathrooms why? Also in certain applications you'll use feet and not screw into the face frame why?
My website Www.pulloutslikeapro.com It's still under construction, but if you don't pay attention to the missing things it's functional except the shipping is way, way off. Anyone who sees this I'll do shipping at $10 a drawer. My cost is more than that. Call me and we can do a work around until my developers get everything fixed.
I already have. Just need to post it. I'm working on a website and waiting for developers to figure out shipping and a few other things before I start advertising. Most of the videos on the site are place holders until I get the rest finished. Www.pulloutslikeapro.comPrices are accurate but shipping is way way off.
