I'm the founder and producer of the personal brand "Matt Robb" which is a RU-vid channel focused on consumer electronics. Through the channel, I've had the opportunity to work with major tech companies such as Google, Samsung, DJI and many others. I also have my own video production company known as MTRB Studios, where I work with various clients throughout the world to produce anything from simple promo videos to adverts & documentaries.

I received these yesterday, and after playing with them for about 24 hours they're going back. These things are only half-baked, especially if you're a Windows user. Their software is still in beta and there's a couple of alternatives out there, but they're not fully functional either. There's a lot of blurry. Hard to see areas near the bottom and top of the screen, which makes it almost impossible to use the icon bar at the bottom of my windows desktop. The resolution is low enough that it feels like a giant downgrade from a medium size monitor. Maybe I would put more effort into making them work if I traveled more but just for day-to-day use, they are a no-go. I will look again in a few years.
I really enjoyed your review and found it very useful. My M3 Pro is currently winging its way to me and I am even more glad I chose the same one as you now that I have watched your review.
Take off any metal watch straps while typing because it scratches the space black off the sharp edges and leaves the raw silver underneath and it really stands out under light
I buy my phones outright, so I don’t switch carriers every couple of years. Now I have an iPhone 13 for daily use and a Red Magic 9 Pro for gaming and emulation. Bo OSes are fine. I don’t understand the fanboyism people have.
Regardless the M2 or M3 processor, anything less than 32GB you're gonna struggle. You need 64GB up for decent 3D work and Rendering. I have a 128GB on a RTX4090 and sometimes I feel it is not enough and I can't fathom a laptop with less than 64GB for that
I edit all these videos on my laptop with 18GB and I never max out the RAM, I’m editing 6k 10bit video plus I usually have dual screens hooked up to it with other applications open and I’ve not had a problem. I don’t 3D render or do anything intense with graphics so yeah if you wanna do anything like that I think you’re right. It depends what people will be doing on it tbh
Make sure u have service centers close enough to you . Otherwise you are gonna be stuck waiting on mails for a looong time (30 days is my current best still no idea on when I will be able to send it away)
@@hansitvarshney2036 yes you should. The edges are fading on all sides. Dont wear rings or watches when you use it. Apart from this, the colour is absolutely amazing
I know this is an amazing product but does no one think it's quite expensive for what it is? I mean your phone or the device that you connect it to does all of the driving
Yo, just so you know, the link you put for the floating clock was the wrong app haha, I thought I was going crazy not being able to find the options you were doing
hey can anyone let me know what speed you get when transferring files (app name Arc) I have a 70 MB internet connection and my friend has a 30MB so what if I share a 10GB file with my friend what speed would I get
Thanks. I do have one question i am hoping you could answer? When wearing these glasses and mirroring your phone for let's say watching a movie or whatever, can you at the same time only have it play on one of the glasses and have the other one turned off so that, you can still see through one of them??
I never experience any overheating honestly but I don’t use a case and I’m in a cold country. I’ve heard from people in India it gets really hot and throttles
@@MattRobb thank you matt, that makes sense. I've seen few videos which mention throttling, and some just don't mention it at all. I was wondering whether it has a long term effect on battery health. I found your video very unbiased, loved the details. But thought of asking since you didn't mention about it. I chose Oneplus 10T over this, saw couple of comparison videos.
Nope it’s not sponsored, but the company did send me the watch to check out, so I’ve been honest about my experience. Like I mentioned the screen has some glare and isn’t bright enough on really sunny days, and the strap feels a bit flimsy. Even with those issues, I prefer this watch over the Pixel Watch because it's more rugged with a larger display and better battery life. It's actually one of the best Wear OS watches I’ve tried in a while, and I’m pretty impressed with it. The only real downside is that it doesn’t support Google Assistant anymore, which is a bummer.
This looks fun and all but the price is ridiculous.. for $299.00 you can even get a DJI and it's 4k.. can't stick it in your pocket but for the price difference that is not a deal breaker..and has battery options starts at 31mins and really long distance video transmission.. blows this $399 dollar drone out of the water for quality all the way around.. Just Sayian if your gonna spend this kind of money .. get a real drone that has at least a brand you heard of ... lol
Yeah it is expensive but even DJI mini drones are now $800/900. Maybe you can get an old refurbished mini for the same price and if you can then you’re right you’re getting better quality. This is a very niche product
If you have an android with video out through usb c or a Mac you can lock the screen in place while you turn your head. If you’re using any other device you will need the beam to lock the screen position. The beam also is a dedicated device which can run Netflix, amazing prime etc for content consumption as a standalone device
