There's a big statue in buydebug for Island Paradise. I wonder if it would work for the first world you showed. Do you need a mod for sims to use the boats? They've always seemed inaccessible for me. On Kit Island, I think the ferry with all the rugs is rabbitholes for various jobs where the island residents go to work, like the ferry takes them from the island to the mainland. I don't think you can swim in ponds unless you make them pools and disguise them to look like ponds or connect the ponds to the ocean which can be swam in. Thanks for the tours. That's a good idea with the statue. No I do not use a mod for boats, you should be able to rent or buy a boat to use it. The kit island boat is a cute idea I've seen it work out in many other worlds! Ah, that must be what I saw then, many creators have been able to expertly hide the pool using flora and rocks and made it blend in very well! You are welcome, there is so much fun to be had while vacationing in tiny worlds and the size keeps your save bloat down by a lot so you can revisit them many times without worrying about lagging down your game too much!
Any mods out there that effect base price for other spannables? I can't find anything like for gems/metals/insects and have no clue where to find the tuning for it myself.
it might be a bit advanced but you can search the names in the build packages in the game files and change the prices yourself, but you have to export the files and load it into a new file.

I've been playing Sims3 for years and thought I had my game running pretty well overall after reading/watching SO much content to best install and run the game. You still taught me new stuff! You're by far the best creator to come along for TS3 players. Congrats and I can't wait for world overviews!
oh wow those are such kind words tysm! I hadn't done a world overview in awhile since I thought ppl weren't as interested but I really like making videos even if just one person expresses they like them, so I will pump some more out!
How is your game running so smooth with all these mods and expansion packs? I have a decent gaming computer but I always encounter lag no matter what. Even with nrass and the smooth patch 😭
I have done a lot of things to optimize my game, and I have to do certain things to keep my game smooth as well. It comes with the responsibility of having cc and mods. There are too many things to state what I do, but I always include optimization tips and tricks when I can in my videos!
Hey, followed your tutorial exactly. But I noticed an issue: the worlds I installed this method seem to lose all names/descriptions of lots/sims/households? And instead I see the name displayed as a long directory address to... wherever that name or description is stored, I guess. It's very strange! Is this expected behavior, does anyone know? And if so, any workarounds?
That issue usually happens with store worlds due to the way EA handles their data files. If it’s a regular custom world and you’re seeing those directory addresses, it’s more likely that the world file itself is corrupted or wasn’t installed properly. All the worlds I’ve covered on my channel have been installed using this exact method, and you can see in multiple videos that the names and descriptions are displaying as they should, without any issues. If you’re having this problem, I’d suggest checking the integrity of the world file or trying another download source.
@@mookymilkplays ah they were definitely all store worlds :P The fan-made custom worlds were okay. Have you had issues installing store worlds the old Sims3Pack way? Thanks so much for responding btw! Bit unrelated, but I wanted to point you toward a program called “Bulk Rename Utility” for bulk mod renaming - it’s been so helpful to get rid of numbers and dashes in a couple clicks. I think you might like it!
@@a.k.1634 I already know of the bulk rename tool thank you for suggesting, but since I need to see what all cc I want to get rid of anyway I don't mind individually renaming them, I have a pretty fast system for it. Also it again depends on where you download the world. I think blam's EA store already offers worlds in a world pack file to drop in your installation folder, but I'm sure other decrappers have this as well, you just have to look.
Hey! Your video is very effective. I just want to know if you MERGE your override items (default hair/eyes/skin, lighting mods, etc) and put on ccmagic.
You must be new ;). I have some gameplay on my channel. I'm currently converting several gbs of cc from ts4-ts3 as I clean out and replace my cc folders. There's no point in me starting a series when I won't have all the cc I usually play with. <3
Hello, I’m a little confused. I replaced my options style with yours and for some reason when I look at the options, it’s still set to normal. What should I do?
It's set to normal because you didn't change the lifespan to epic and moved all of the settings to the right as I show you in the video. The only way the new settings won't show up is because you missed that step. The game can't register the new numbers if you don't max it out at Epic.
@@twofacedsaint redo it. Set it back to normal. Close the game. Open the game. Set it to epic. Change all the dials to the right. Then add my ini file.

@@mookymilkplays Exactly! Sims 3's RPG elements are great and the fact that it has a world and character that ages is something most Roleplaying Games don't have.

XCAS core is not required for Passion mod. I've been playing Passion mod without it for ages. Also, Arro did make a version of his mod compatible with XCAS core, but you have to download it from NRAAS under expanded tattoo's. And MC supersedes XCAS core mod anyway. This could be because you have an outdated smooth patch mod and didn't apply the delta patch right, in any case, please report issues in the comments of the mod <333
