The Tangent on Veritas Catholic Network is hosted by Fr. Sam Kachuba and Matt Sperrazza. We talk Catholicism and Culture, going on as many tangents as possible in the process.
So are all allegedly linked to god? How about a person who doesn’t have any sexual contact because they believe sex to be meaningful and only to be shared with a person they love? This isn’t a Christian morality, it’s a personal one.
I was homeschooled. I will never homeschool my child. Homeschooling typically results in delayed development and the child never catching up with their peers. As Catholics we can do better. We have Catholic schools for a reason.
I love the Papacy and reject the biggest enemies ever of the Papacy: bad Popes. We have had too many of those, some say 8, and the present number 9 is the very worst of them all. Protecting and justifying a heretic and apostate Pope is a sign of the demonic.
What authority does the Pope have to back up his anti biblical teachings? I am asking why the Pope's words do not align with the Gospel. What need is there of the cross in if all religions lead to God. Please stop scratching itching ears rather.... call out heresy. No one is playing God...we are trusting God's Word and recognize false teachings.
I have defended Pope Francis' actions and statements ever since he became pope, always trying to give him the benefit of the doubt whenever people tried to accuse him of supporting evil, or twisted his words. I cannot defend him any longer. “One of the things that struck me about all of you here is your ability to engage in interreligious dialogue, and this is very important. If you, in the beginnings of your conversations and debates, start to say things like, ‘My religion is more important than yours,’ ‘No, mine is more important than yours,’ that sort of thing, where will this lead us? Because if we start to fight amongst ourselves and say, ‘My religion is more important than yours,’ ‘My religion is true, yours is not,’ where will that lead us? Someone respond. Where would it lead us? It’s okay to discuss. Every religion is a way to arrive at God. To make an example or a comparison, they are like different languages in order to arrive at God. But God is God for all - and if God is God for all, then we are all sons and daughters of God. ‘But my God is more important than your God.’ Is that true? There is only one God, and each of us is a language, so to speak, in order to arrive at God. Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, Christian - they are different paths.” -Pope Francis. That is no follower of Christ. Those are the words of Satan. Jesus was very clear, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father, but by me." As for criticizing the Pope in general, St. Paul called out the first "pope," Peter, and told him he was in error to his face in front of the entire church. I see no legitimacy in ANY person or organization, even the entire Catholic Church itself, that claims that the Pope is above criticism and correction.
There has to be a distinction between attacking the office of the papacy and criticizing the man in the office. Say the man in the office is doing great harm to the Church, and is teaching error is not calling into question the institution of the papacy. If Catholics are never allowed to call out the men in the office, then one has to resort to the position of saying that people who called out the popes for fornications and having children out of marriage were being led by Satan. Absurd position to hold. What the good priest should do here is make that distinction.
Rome is full of apostates, there's one sitting in the chair of Peter. He automatically excommunicated himself with his apostasy. He is no longer the pope, is no longer even Catholic. We owe him no obedience at all. This is just like the Arian heresy when 80% of the churches bishops were corrupted and didn't believe in the divinity of Christ. Back then it was the laity that had to rise up and say no to the Church. We have to do the same thing again.
It’s pretty darn ironic that the man who claims to be pope has two images of Judas in his personal office, one a painting and one a statue. What kind of Satanic lunatic celebrates the same freak that betrayed our Lord for money? Only Bergoglio could hold up such a man as worthy of being remembered. So these men doing this video are part of his cabal if they will not stand up to him. There’s been plenty of Anti Pp before, and he is probably the worst one of all. Pray for the men who made this video conversion and of course pray for the Jesuit conversion to the Catholic faith.
A pope attacking the church, proclaiming heresy. Being in cahoots with the masonic cabal is truly demonic. A pope ,who hands over the church to communists for money,What in the world do you call that! I think I know!!!!!!
ST. JOHN BOSCO: “Jesus put up with the ignorance and roughness and infidelity of the apostles. He treated sinners with a kindness and affection that caused some to be shocked, others to be scandalized and still others to hope for God’s mercy. And so he bade us to be gentle and humble of heart.”
You can’t take that statement literally “ this pope has warranted to being criticized “ and the latest heresy is calling all religions as the same” that the spirit of GOD is in all religions “ that’s heresy” and it has to be called out
@@johnmckeron3663 "other clergy" meaning other than the Pope. You don't know anything about how the Church checks the Pope. Only another Pope can determine such a thing. Infant level understanding. I admonish you to read the catechism carefully and study the Summa Theologica.
@@allenm2705 So blindly following heresy? That does not make sense. We're sitting at tables that Jesus sent us to flip. If you want a clear way to push devout Catholics away, THIS IS IT.
@themightysisto8092 I am a devout Catholic because I know how the papacy and the magisterium even works. There's no heresy because he didn't say what you're told by your secular news source. Think hard about the things that set us apart from the "orthos" and prots.
ST. TERESA OF LISIEUX: “It is not because I have been preserved from serious sin that I lift up my heart to God in trust and love. I am certain that even if I had on my conscience every imaginable sin, I should lose nothing of my confidence, but would throw myself, my heart broken with sorrow, into the arms of my Savior.”
Indeed there is a sweet spot between ‘question nothing’ and ‘question everything’. One might call that sweet spot a marriage between discernment and sincerity.
We live in South Africa and I listen to different priests on RU-vid... Fr Chris Alar, Fr Mike Goring, of course Bishop Barron, but admit not Fr Mike Schmidt. Thank you for bringing this to us. I will definitely do a search and include Fr Mike to the list. God bless you.🕯🕯🕯 We believe to include ALL priests in our daily Rosary, our Pope, Magisterium, Sisters and Nuns all over the world. We have Fr Francis from Uganda as our parish priest and previously Fr Joseph who is in Uganda presently after being promoted. It is his home country as well. We love you all! GOD BLESS YOU ALL💖⚘⚘➕
I really really pray for Bishop Baron. He is so learned and unafraid and is out there to protect and explain Gods message. Awesome. God bless and guide them Always
Thank you for The reminder of praying for our priests ESP in Social Media. The Catholic preachers too. They have so much exposure that The evil one feels defeated but together with all our prayers they Will survive The pressures and temptations. God Will protect them
Fr Mike in USA is like Fr Rob Galea in my state of Victoria in Australia 🇦🇺 Fr Rob ( known as the young singing priest) is on social media constantly. He has traveled the world drawing precious souls to Jesus .. he also has sung at world Youth Day. Pray 🙏 for all these wonderful priests , I’d like to add Fr Chris Alar too 🙏🙌🙏
Why don't you talk about all the good in people..and all the good that people do..instead of making us feel we are horrible and miserable..how do you folks live with yourselves.???
ST. TERESA OF LISIEUX: “It is not because I have been preserved from serious sin that I lift up my heart to God in trust and love. God bless and protect Father Mike Schmitz. I am so, so, very much thankful to God for all His faithful Priests and His dedicated Priests on RU-vid from whom I have learned so much about my faith... the more traditional they are the better for me in my humble opinion. Father Chad Ripperger, Father Michael Rodriguez, Father Robert Altier, Father Michael O'Connor, Father Edward Meeks, Father James Altman, Father James Maudsley, Father Lawrence Carney, Father Donald Calloway, Father Chris Alar, and so, so many other Priests who I have learned from lately. Thank God for their RU-vid ministries. Deo gratias. Ave Maria Purisima gratia plena help us all to be better Catholics ( I do desire nothing but to be able to attend the TLM, I am a traditional Catholic who has truly fallen in love with the TLM ) and embrace the TRUE teachings of God and His Church. I do not want to be part of a false Catholic. Thank you.
For some reason I get a weird vibe from, Fr, Schmitz, like he's not genuine and enjoying his internet celebrity status too much. I don't know, I guess I just prefer humble people
To grief a celebrity..s good example is Elvis!remember 16 of August 1977...so much people in Memphis and all over the world lots of people mourn. And still miljons of people coming to Graceland.
Francis probably approved , had no choice. But he stopped the Canonization. That was due to Archbishop Sheen opposition to Marxism/communism/free Masons
I think the sense is just that Fr. Mike and other well-known priests are under a lot of pressure and a lot of people want to get close to them. The evil one is also bound to target anyone who is such a magnet to the Faith.
Fr. Mike was apart of my reversion during Covid! Oh my gosh his homilies would/still hit right at my heart and make me feel closer to Jesus. I pray for him and all priests everyday🙏🏻
Same! In 2020 when we couldn't go to church, we'd watch his Masses. It's thanks to him, at least in part, that I started to truly take my faith seriously
Fr. Schmitz's talk about "Do all good people go to heaven?" is the most relevant thing I've ever heard any Catholic Priest say. It addresses the awful, lying, bullshit, secular matrix reinforced by America's federal/Freemason 'watchlist' surveillance cult. This is, of course, biased against the necessary morality of Christianity. America's intelligent networks, Freemasonry, secularized 'political Judaism' and many occultic interests have won the century-long war, a cultural and political war, against Christianity - particularly against Catholic moral teaching - and actually believe that they can hold ground in a so-called 'neutral' moral vacuum. There is no such thing as neutral morality. It is an opening for the vicious tenets of Satanism, which admits to its predatory intentions: Might Makes Right, Do What Thou Will, etc. All it's going to take, not that Christians are demoralized and neutral, is chaos: A terroristic episode, destabilization, fear, disorientation. The Devil isn't stupid. Those who hated the political intrigues of Jesuitism couldn't imagine why it was targeted for neutralization. It HAD to be taken down, dissolved, in order for the barbaric massacres and genocides of the French Revolution, WWs I and II... The anti-Jewish and anti-Christian genocides of Bolshevism and then the pagan insanity of Nazism.. Christians have LONG forgotten what war is: It's brutal. It's anything but tolerant, honest, fair. One stabilizing, even resented ideological system is destroyed so that inhuman hatreds can run rampant. What was it Albert Pike said? He spoke about atheism (which would emerge in the 20th Century as Communism) and Christianity, which being an outright Satanist he hated, going to war and mutually destroying one another. Why? His wording was something like, so that the world would finally witness the 'open doctrine of Lucifer' represented. This usually entails public executions, human sacrifices, etc. As occultist and author Mark Allen Smith said, Lucifer "has a passion for sacrifice."
I pray for him every day, and have since starting BIY and CIY. So should everyone who benefits from his leadership. But he's a man, and a sinner just like all of us. He needs our prayers, and isn't shy about asking. God bless him, and you all🙏
