Looks great ! Hears a tip to tap a curve the size of your Vette. Use 1/4 pin strip which will easily bend around the curve. Then use the painters tape over the edge of the pin stripe.
Man I can’t wait to get out and race mid east! Gncc is so hard to hit all of the races but mid east is gonna be so much easier to hit them all. Love the videos man can’t wait to see you out there next year!
Hi Tim! Good riding! I used to race vet C, a few of us did. I was on a heavily modded Yamaha Blaster. You please be careful. The only reason I ever won was because of people that crashed out! Good luck if I come back... LOL
You commented on carbs... ever think about switching to a low carb, high fat diet? I always rode a great first lap and then got tired for lap 2 and 3, then woke up for the rest. I've switched, and now I don't think that would be a problem for me.
How many were in Vet C this race? That's where I was on my Blaster a few years ago. At the time there were probably 20 of us for the more popular races.
I just record myself on gopro then just use the audio from the video in the editing software I use which is Davinci Resvole. Pretty easy to do honestly.
Dude, I know you said all good. but again, I apologize for that pass 1 mile in. I was riding like an ass and shouldn’t have been that aggressive on the first lap. We all expect it toward the end but I gotta calm myself down at the beginnings.
HAHA, check Episode 6, you set the pace on lap 1!!!! I was like if this is the pace this gonna be a long day! I try to pace myself off whoever is leading first lap if I can keep up. Chris blistered me lap 3-4.
For sure we can get it done! I can hear it now: "The Squatch Watchers LTR450 did great today out in the woods, it was in its natural habitat and we were able to put it on the box!"
Got me back wanting to get out there again I was riding Vet B some last year and stayed in top 3 against those guys on a stock 400EX. I sold that machine with intention of building a 450 as I just needed more power regularly. Son just started driving so bought him a Jeep and haven't had time to build a new quad yet. Keep thinking I want another dirt bike but I am faster on a quad for sure.
Hadn’t raced in 17 years and this was my first race back. Terrain was rough for first start back. Arm pump and my hands got the best of me with a half dollar sized blister that ruptured end of lap 2, ended up 12th in our class and still don’t know how I didn’t go over the bars at the start.
I got the same thing man! Haven’t raced in 4 years after having back surgery in 2020. My hands went in the 3rd lap, my lap times show it , I got 2 massive blisters on both hands and they ruptured as well. It was a survival race on lap 4 Bc track was so rough combined with hands gone. I hope to see ya at round 2! There’s also pictures of you nose diving on turn 1 lol. Nice save!!!
Very helpful - I'll be taking measurements from the ground to the top of the fenderwell arch and also measuring how much of the spring bolt is exposed. I'm dropped on stock bolts but the ends have worn off and I'm getting creaking and groaning noises. Initially looking to maintain the height I'm at now so I don't have to realign.
No offense but this is the least instrumental video in RU-vid history, but you got a cool car and on the right path. When I removed my headlight I think I did it different, but I couldn't see details of your removal
