I believe it to hold that much. I build mine with duel feed direct , sonnax boost valve, tcc valve and afl valve kit, shim to be tight, holds 800+ hp easy
very nice car n excellent work u have done,, iam also working on 67 camaro with LS3/6L80e swap in CA, my car ws blue originally, but bro i like yo custom color touch, i want to go blue again, love the blue u have, i know for sure its custom mix..if u don't mind i would love to have my car painted same blue, i will highly appreciate the color code or color mix (name), thank u n keep the good work going
What/ how do you keep the walls secured from falling over in the trunk? I’m laying out the trunk in my 64 Riv, and was thinking possibly of using magnets. Your trunk looks great
Thanks Jason! I used magnets in the last one and didn't really like it even using rare earth magnets. I drilled a hole about 3/8" and insterted on of the tee nuts I added in the description. They are very handy. I love to put them on the backside of stuff also which stops any possibility of them pulling through. If you look real close you can see one in the video. I only used 1 per corner. 2 per corner would be a little better but I couldn't get to another spot to drill once they were in there. Hope that helps.
Yeah I put so much work in that and it looked so cool! Thanks for watching the other videos. I couldn’t make the shifter work properly so I had to find a different shifter. I guess I wasted 50 hrs at least with the other console.
@@SOB_Garage your right, mine is the 6l80. If you ever feel like swapping gauge cluster from a gen 5 let me know, I’m working on encrypting all the canbus messages, so I can run a gen 5 gauge without error codes because of missing modules. All you need is a bcm and a few wires :-)
Great video. I appreciate you telling viewers the truth about the PIT-A_S level it was. I will probably pay a shop to put my parts in my core as long as it cost no more than 3 digits.
I’d really like to edit the dash in my 1970 El Camino. Can you help point me in the right direction possibly? Just not a fan of the stock sweeping speedometer and instrument cluster in it. Would like to replace it with modern needle gauges and make space in the dash for a modern radio setup.
I would measure the gauge holes and try to find some aftermarket gauges that’ll fit right in those holes. I bet you could find some. Basically slide the new gauge in the dash holes and then put the clamp on the backside holding the gauge in. Then you would just hook the new gauges up to the correct new sensors. You could probably do that over a weekend and it would make a dramatic difference.
The way you speak about doing a rebuild gives me the confidence haha. Any chance do you have any updated part numbers? Some of them are currently unavailable. Also thank you for making these vids
69 chevelles/Camaros are the best looking GM cars. I had a friend and he had a 1969 SS396 Chevelle and It has been my dream car since I was 12 years old. I like the Chevelle a little better than the Camaro because they have a full frame that can be reinforced. Thanks!
Love it. Great journey and so happy to have been able to work and learn along side. For the viewers, the car is beast, and this is just the base setup, it can be a ton faster. I know Sig will keep chopping at it for a while. ALso note, this car will BE FOR SALE SOON. Again, congratulations Sig!
100% agree, doing it yourself will save alot. Its funny you put this video up. Im putting out my 4l80 video out today. I spent a LOT of money on mine but it would have been double if i paid someone to do it. The car sounds great man
@@builtmikesway1167You won this time! 624 rwhp @ 8psi . There were boost issues. I am fixing the issues and it will go back in a few weeks. It did boost up to 17lbs which would be over 1000 rwhp but he didn’t record that pass…
@@SOB_Garage thank you the filler panel I purchased didn't have any holes so I'll look into doing that. I appreciate your help. The only holes on l my panel is one square hole on the edge corner. Thank you
