Ah, 1995. I had a ponytail like Hideyo's, a couple of vests like Paul's, and a hat like Bert's. Unfortunately I'm just discovering the CGT in 2024 or I would have gone to see them in concert long ago!
I have been a fan of CGT ever since I first heard about them 20-ish years ago and have seen them several times. I just saw them locally last night and it was a great show!
Their energy and ambiance was at its peak during this time period. Unlike a lot of bands, they were best in their live performances rather than studio recording sessions. This is the best set I've found since then.
This is a deep understanding of music and the message that it brings to people! And at this time, other guitarists are leading a sports competition in speed and technique!
Well done, Paul, Bert, and Tom! This song is so beautiful. I miss seeing Hideyo playing with you, but I hope to get the chance to meet Tom in person at some point!

Very nice! Btw, your original cover of Echoes years ago was my very first introduction to CGT, and I became an instant fan. I've only made it to a handful of live shows though, because you never come to the Harrisburg PA area anymore. I've gone 1.5 hrs to Frederick MD and 2 hrs to Sellersville PA, but I don't really travel for shows anymore like I used to. York PA is very doable though... check out the Appell Center, it's a nice place with both a small and a large theater. There's also the Luhrs Center in Shippensburg, that's a classy place. Hope to catch you again someday, somewhere! :)
They are coming to the Kennett Flash in Kennett Square. If you want to see them really up close and personal, the venue seats only 110 people. Straight shot on the turnpike to Chester County.
@@djgatorstang Thanks, I appreciate the info. Sounds like a nice intimate venue. (Doubt I'll make it though, unless I'd find someone to roadtrip with.)
@@TieDyeVikki Try to find someone. It's well worth it. I feel the same about wanting to see some of the concerts in Harrisburg at the HU. I'm a road warrior, but it's better to have a fellow concert goer with me when I drive that far!
