This is awesome. Not only that the SNES version of the critical theme as but also the losing scream is clear Oooohhahhhh and not with that echo ooohh ahh ooh ahh ooh ahh 😁😁 Very nice job! This could have knocked the Genesis version back in the day which was the favorite one as I remembered.
I'm so happy to see other people who made detailed distinctions between street fighter Snes and street fighter arcade . there are many 90s game that are remixed almost every year , whether they are arcade or consoles , one day it will be your turn , your work will be added to a remastered street fighter on snes
Adjusting the key to arcade pitch makes a world of difference. Was just listening to the CPS1 tune, and your SNES bell now sounds like the arcade bell! Appreciate the juiced drums and bass too!🙌

I appreciate that you did many of these themes and corrected the pitches. I have a very fine tuned ear, and when keys are like a half-step off, it bugs me. These sound so great, and the addition of the critical themes is pretty awesome too.
There are a ton of them out there, mostly using the no-alien mod. But for me, half the fun is finding a hiding spot I can survive in long enough to make a decent video!
@@hambone1138 Since I got the inspo from you, d'you mind if I try this and post it on my channel? A one time thing of course, it's not really what my channel is about. I just wanna try it :p And I totally agree with you, it's prob hard to hide for longer than an hour because of the way the alien's ai is built. But so worth it to fall asleep to the nerve wracking footsteps of the alien.
@@googleyoflolz9930 Do it! I can’t wait to see the result. I actually got the idea from seeing some of Silent_Stalker’s videos, and made it into a sort of parody of a travelogue.
Now this one was the perfect arrangement: you just fixed all the things I hated from the SNES soundtrack which was the strident trumpets they used but somehow by putting the others instruments more upgraded, kinda muffled the grating sound and feels harmonious again, tis was just excellent, not to mention the CPS-1 pitch hit perfectly. And the critican track was smooth, amazing... I don't think I have heard a better version of the critical beat than this one. It's simply perfect. Excellent job on this one.
NGL, as a big fan of the Vegas theme in the CPS1 and 2, I hated this version when the SNES came. Dunno, the trumpets gave it a very dissonant tone that I couldn't diggest... but now that I'm listening your mix, you fixed everything I hated from that version and sounds great. Perfect. Now, about the critical bit... maybe if you lower the BPM slightly it could sound a lot better, precisely because you're using the same trumpets from the SNES and, when placed together in a very fast motion, kinda sounds way too noisy... so maybe lowering the BPM might make it sound better, just my two cents. (tried slowing it down with the RU-vid video speed at 0.75 and it's slower than it should be BUT it will give you a better tone of the track. maybe at 0.85 or .90 would be the perfect speed).
A rather interesting fact: while most citical themes in SF2 are a four scale note ascent scheme to return to the first low note for the loop, Deejay's only has one note ascent and then the rest of the loop stays in that note indefinitely.
1:06 here's when Balrog will start spamming flying Barcelona attacks and trying to connect Izuna Drops or jump and sliding non stop. Balrog is going for the final slash here.
