It always makes my skin crawl when I see them on a bench. That was so damn hype!! The bois are back in the flesh! I hope this isn't the only time we see them tho. Dope to be able to see some old familiar faces like those two! Yep, Jona I brought up before, but I'll save going to him last most likely. I didn't know we could go to the mayor's office so thanks for letting me know that!
Elie was among the crowd when the mayor was giving a speech. Btw 'urgent' support requests are story mandated quests. Which means they progress the story. So you should be doing the other quests with short timeframes first.
That was Elie beside Mariabell!?! Holy Stregas! She was maybe dressed a little over the occasion but very cute, nonetheless. Got ya fam! I'll be sure to do the urgent one last! Gotta make sure I get ALL of them done. We ain't missing out on quests around here!!! lol
I will be honest, I wasn't even in the mindset to figure out Yin's identity while playing this chapter since I was thinking it would be relevant much later. So this reveal took me by complete surprise. But it makes a lot of sense in retrospect. Big props to you for being on top of it.
Tbh I agree with you as well. I figured it might get revealed somewhere in a later chapter, but for it to happen this soon is pretty wild. 6:40 Crossbell games originally had fan translations. The publisher later paid the fan translation team to do the official release. Scott was one of the members of the fan translation team, who sadly passed away. Yin does not mess around! "I thought hard was tamed here." Well yeah, now imagine how it was back in Sky games! Zeit taking the team rush was hilarious though.

I haven't been able to play xenoblade for the past week actually. Too busy with other stuff. Love the atmosphere of Stargazer's Tower. It looks amazing. "Let me hit you with a crit too" *gets hit back with a crit again* lmao

Yeah, unfortunately I think that quest just bugged out. The people left among the ones you needed to talk to were receptionist Sera and the doctors at the ground floor. But from the looks of it they didn't trigger a scene. That's a shame.
Just my luck...lol I'll mess around with it and see if I can reload an old save to see if that will fix the glitch. If not, then I suppose it is what it is. I don't want to put off any story progress any longer because we've been in chapter 2 forever lol
Well, looks like the extra sidequest mod is also gone. There should've been a quest called "Search for the Oversleeping Doctor" this ingame day according to the guide I am looking at. It should still be accessible if you install it right now though. But reminder to install the portraits version to not clash with the portrait mod. About the bonding, yeah I maxed out Tio in my playthrough but I also checked out all the scenes on youtube afterwards. So you don't need to accommodate me. I would rather you choose whoever you want. (If you want Elie that is fine too ofcourse) I also thought I was going to finish Xenoblade X the way you weren't posting anything but I am still not done. Well, I am almost done with the main story but not anywhere close done with the side content.

The two superpowers, and Crosbell caught in the middle, tied by the laws Erebonia and Calvard made for it. Even Revache and Heiyue are aligned each to one country. Actually the CDF is a reference to the Japanese SDF after wwii, self-defence force, not a "real" army because it was not allowed to be affter losing, just like Crosbell isn´t alllowed to have a real army, just the "Crossbell Defence Force, CDF". Still, it´s very screwed up that Elie´s parents get divorced and neither of them keeps the child wtf. The combination attacks are just that, dual S-crafts that spend 100 CP of the 2 people involved. Soome of them are quite good, and the "relationship" system affects them IIRC, I think they get upgraded with the one you have more affinity with.
Being stuck in the middle of the likes of those two is seriously a fuckin' nightmare.. There's just way too much crap that comes with all of it. I didn't know it was a reference, so that's nice to know. But yeah, Crossbell not being allowed to have an army is rough. I was shocked when they first mentioned that. For real tho. She got stuck with her gramps and spent all her time with her head in the books. I really hope they she can plan to at least see her family sometime at least... I can't wait to see the dual craft!!! By the way, I am not sure what was going on with your PC problem but did you end up reinstalling the game? Because I think I haven't seen any of the mod portraits in the last few videos so you might've forgotten about installing the mods.

Ultimate Bread Showdown is one of the extra quests from the Vita version btw. Those ingredient requirements at the start are quite a lot. Good job on figuring out the extra requirements though!

I like all the road themes in this game but this one is my favourite. This can be a tricky fight to do without any fire arts. So hey, congrats on beating them like that. Also, it is easy to miss with high speed mode but the stealth effect gave you a guaranteed crit.
This one was too damn good. Probably my favorite as well. I really gotta make sure I have multiple different arts across the board because not having a fire art in this fight was annoying. The graveyard thing was already bugging me, but then I saw the scene with Rixia practicing and I was 100% sure there should be music there. So I checked an old playthrough and it turns out the official western release you are playing has some little changes. Probably best to save the graveyard info for the next game anyway. Sorry for the wildgoose chase, but at least I´m not going crazy xd

As if the Crossbell city wasn't enough now the surrounding areas are included in the NPC pool as well. That is a lot of people to talk to! I don't mind it one bit though.
Crossbell has so many damn areas. I feel like I've seen double the amount of NPC's even when combining some of the areas in Sky lmao It's fun to see what they all have to say (despite some that repeat themselves). I think I'll have to make the NPC parts on the longer side tbh. Otherwise, I'll end up with an insane number of parts focused on just NPC's lol Maybe 50 mins plus at least.

About Arios being as strong as the strongest person she knows, I think she means Loewe too. That said, remember that in sky 3rd someone said she used to spar with him, and win... In sky Zin says the thing about Cassius is that "unity of purpose" thing, he can fight, he can leave the sword and change to the staff, he can lead armies, he can take control after the chaos of FC... he can do everything, while Loewe is basically just a fighter, even if they could be matched. That might be the case with Arios too. That says, officialy Cassius has mastered 2 forms of the eight leaves style (wathever that means), while Arios only one, so maybe it´s a case of "every game we have to have someone strongest and strongest" so things don´t get stale.
It has to be Loewe! But yeah, it's crazy to think that one of the Anguis mentioned that he could've probably surpassed her, but that just means whoever that Anguis is she's no doubt a MONSTER. Cassius is the true definition of a one-man army and the jack of all trades. It's genuinely hard for me to fathom people like Arios beating Dad, but I suppose I'll see how strong Arios is one day if he joins up with us for a mission or something. Two forms of eight leaves style, huh. I assume there's even more forms of eight leaves than just two? And true, most games need a top tier candidate and I suppose he fits the bill.

I´d recommend including the cathedral area and the graveyard (including the keeper) in your NPC speak rotation, mostly in Azure, but in this one as well. A couple of grave are interesting too.

Monster eggs are dropped by the green bird-like monsters in this area. You were just unlucky in your encounter with one of them. Yeah, the game throws you some high level monster chests every now and then. Thankfully, they warn you beforehand and it is marked on the big map so you can come back to it when you are stronger. Also, there are people to talk to in the Cathedral area as well.

I went back to the Cathedral in the next part after finishing up the morges quest. I skipped it at first cause I got tired of the game saying I can't go anywhere so i assumed I couldn't go there lmao
I like all the different situations they put us in with these side quests. Sky games had some fun sidequests too but you can certainly feel an improvement here.
