My mom bought a fridge magnet of lower manhattan’s skyline at night from the point of New Jersey in the 90s. That fridge magnet is still on our old fridge as of 2024.
3:13 to think you can hear those police Sarans… the jumpers would of known that that was for them. Also that height is what they saw before they jumped.
I still remember the first time I saw them in 97 or 98, it was a clear sunny September day not too different than the day the whole world knows them for. They were unbelievably huge, I never saw anything like that before and the glare off of them viewing from a distance approaching them from NJ was incredibly bright but not quite as blinding as road glare. Really cool buildings they were, what happened that day is really the only thing from my past that bothers me when I think about it. Terrible thing.
Me parecieron tan Perfectas... Admiro y Quiero a E.E.U.U. Lamento mucho , ' tus ' Lagrimas , New York. Lamento mucho el Dolor y Tristezas de ' Mis ' Americanos. Yo , tambien estuve muy Triste desde Mi Tierra Argentina. Saludos para Quien me esta leyendo.

I remember in april 1990 I was there with my class we spent 3 days in NY we visited the UN, empire state building chinatown Liberty island and WTC took many pics I was scared of high but managed to get close to the windows and look down cars looked liked hot wheels people like ants. When I saw them on the news that beautiful sunny september morning i felt really sad for the people dying.
Could anyone ever imagine being on top like that when the terrorist slammed the planes into the WTC towers? Having video of the planes comming at the building just a few floors below ya? 😱😱😱 Extremely scary to say the least😳😱😱😱!
Im looking for a clip from WTC plaza from the mid 90s. There was some kind of festival at the plaza. It was a sunny day and there was this super gorgeous 90's House music playing. I wanted to find the ID of that song ever since, but havent been able to find the video even. I saw in on YT maybe 10 yrs ago,

Trying to rebuild the Towers and plaza in Minecraft, and this video just unlocked new details I never knew about the buildings that are gonna help me. Thank you for uploading this!
As someone born after the attacks, seeing this footage made me realize that I missed out on a lot before my birth, but in this instance, I'll never get to experience something so mesmerizing. It's a shame that some wacko terrorists not only took the lives an opportunities of many people, but also took away the possibility of future generations to witness something so gorgeous. This footage is beautifully haunting.
Don't fall for those conspiracy theories on the CIA, etc. A lot of people born after the attacks believe crazy nonsense about them...don't do that, it's incredibly disrespectful to those who died horribly.
It still blows my mind that people ended up jumping out of the towers that day. I know it was because of a choice between burning up or suffocating to death from the smoke or jumping out and getting the inevitable over with. Plus the heat inside was just unreal. I can not begin to imagine being forced into such a choice. And to fall from that height is unfathomable
😢 sympathy greetings from coastal Mississippi. I was there 9/10/01. I lost friends 9/11/01. North Tower Windows On the World and Marriott Hotel. May we Always Remember Never Forget. I vist the 911 Memorial once a year. This sacred ground ❤
Wow takes me back Surreal Also how creepy that one of those flags in 52 days would attack us😢 A symbol of unity in America and then destroyed by a nation of one of those flags!!! Thank you for sharing this video
Hi Johnny. My family and I are traveling to Arkansas for the upcoming eclipse. Can I have your permission to use a bit of your 2017 footage for a promo video?
Omg I know exactly where I was on this day! It's the Colombian Independence Day! I was in Colombia with my mom and my baby brother and Colombia had just won the Copa América! 🏆 🇨🇴⚽🥅🏆IT WAS A PARTY!
What parking pass gives you access to the lower level like shown in the video at the 2min mark? Is that front-gate or preferred parking? Thank you for your video.
I'm not afraid of heights normally, but I visited the WTC towers and had the privilege of viewing the upper floors. I felt nauseated. I knew the building was designed to sway a bit, but it feels like it's swaying so much more than it actually is. I don't think I would have been able to work there.
I was going to say that too! I say that I’m semi-afraid of heights because it depends on a variety of factors and I know for a fact that if I lived in or near New York City I couldn’t work in those towers unless I was no further than like the 10th floor or something, once you start heading onto the 50th floor and above, imo, that starts getting too high for my comfort as far as consistently working on those floors. I remember seeing several documentaries where a lot of people questioned working in the higher floors because it was odd for them being that high. I will say too, that buildings collapsing has ALWAYS been on my mind when I’m inside taller buildings even before 9/11, so I can’t even imagine what those people felt trapped inside, I mean I wouldn’t have handled that well at all, the first sign of something off and I’m down those stairs in a heartbeat!!!
I can’t relate to the regrets of never seeing those towers while they were standing. The memories of what happened on 9/11 just make the whole location a graveyard for me and images of WTC are always alarming. I visited the Void Memorial once and went to the museum just to find some sort of a closure to those memories but I did not. I don’t think I’ll ever come back to see that sight again. And, of course, it’s none of my business but I don’t think it was even a right thing to do to build that museum, it’s almost as wrong as putting a shipwreck on a display. A memorial - yes, but not a museum with wrecked ladders, parts of a plane, personal belongings…
