@@KyleParker-k1e if you're talking about the trimmer blade it's not going to effectively zero gap, but it's ok I talked to the guy from elite clipper mods and he'll be doing a mod for this trimmer
Quick question. Are the trimmer blades the same? Does the Lence pro trimmer come with a psycho blade? And is that Lence clipper have the same XO blade, like the cutting blade and still blade are the same?
@@user-bu3yi8jb2y For the clipper use the cam follower that comes with the m.i.m blade and put it on the VGR. The Mim still blade will fit but you won't be able to zero gap it. That's when a fusion blade comes in handy
Do you think it was good enough stock or should definitley modify cutting balade. My fast feeds are breaking down and wondering if this will fade coarse as well as fine hair? Also VGR 003 and this are exact same right? I'm guessing just color difference
@@ChubyWater yeah it's great stock for all hair textures you may even like it better stock with the tpob cutting blade it's quiet like jrl though. You just gotta try it for yourself
These were dope when they came out first they was like 100-125. They smooth I like how it feels. It’s just I never knew about the jrs clips vids. I see ppl talk bad about them but these feel smooth, had them for over a year
Does the precision blade fit directly on those CIICII trimmers? What trimmer would you recommend that’s a direct fit for that blade and also usb-c charge?
Brother which TPOB blade are you exactly using (XO taper or the XO taper/fade)? Someone on RU-vid put a TPOB blade on this clipper and it was lose on the cam follower, made a lot of noise. Edit: Can you also instead use the cam follower which comes with the TPOB blade?
@@rickroll3060 I'm only using the cutting blade which comes from the xo faper looking blade. Not sure if you can use tpob cam follower. You should be able to though.
It's simple use the babyliss mim blade cam follower and then use the xo blades. The xo blade cam follower probably works but I can't confirm it because I haven't tried it the mim cam follower works for sure though
The longer lever is a preference thing. I guess it would appeal to more but me personally I like it just the way it is and compared to the onyx that's about the only thing it has that this clipper doesn't. This clipper and trimmer is 61 with tax both can be made into top notch viable options with the lil help from TPOB XO and psycho cutting blades.

I like my vgr v003's alot but i only have a coulpe of nit picks..firstly the power switch rattles while in turbo on mine so i put a grip on and problem sloved..it would also be nice if they opened up more or had a stretch bracket option..plus did you say that was a tpob xo cutting blade?..and why didn't you use the xo top still blade?..i also seen a barber used a JRL top still blade
Yeah it's a tpob cutting blade. That's all I had that's y I don't have the top blade. The first batches of the xo was defective. So I had to return the xo.
i like the ergonomic of this clipper ever since i held it,only thing i did not like was the ever range doesent up as much as others,i would like to see a 2.0 updated version of this clipper
Yea I love the ergonomics damn near feel like a trimmer. Lever range is not that serious to me. wit da babyliss premium guards it still makes a blurry fade. That xo blade was meant for this clipper though
It's basically the same clipper just different colors the trimmers are 100 identical but the vgr stock blade is set better than the bill pro stock blade trimmer. Everything I did to the 640 should work on the vgr 003. The vgr 640 trimmer is set better but it still don't hit it's bottom tier if you use a razor u can get by if you go over the line several times you can create a sharp effect with the stock blade, but in my previous videos I shared a hack to these trimmers if you have a gold fx standard tooth blade and combine it with a psycho cutting blade you'll have trimmers that hit. That's the only combo that works with the trimmer. The trimmer is non adjustable but with that combo it basically zero gapped
Yes it has a metal body its a great clipper. I replaced the original .5 guard with with the .5 babyliss premium guard The o.g guards are good but i dont care for the .5 once you replace the .5 guard with the babyliss im 100% positive you'll be giving some of the best fades you ever produced. Pull the trigger bruh. I like the clipper better than the trimmer. Dont have a scale to weigh them but theyre the same clipper only difference is the lence pro has a battery indicator
Theyre really bout the same judging by the ear test. The lence pro is well put together tpob had to take the xo off the market because of charging issues havent had that problem with the lence pro
