First time doing video editing. Doing playthroughs and other videos. I'm pretty sure I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. Everything (so far) is played on an Xbox Series X and recorded using OBS via remote-play because I don't have a capture card.
Decided to move streaming over to youtube, stream schedules Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 9pm PST.

internet died on me. Also crapped out while I was asleeping later and had to restart the router/modem. Hopefully todays stream isn't completely boned too. Stupid comcast.
The constitution save was due to your body craving the brain. it has nothing to do with you wanting it. i think Arabella's Bearded man was Elminster.. but he doesn't mention taking on an apprentice in his letter, so i don't know. Milil was a God.
I did, then I deleted it while laughing. Kidding. It was going to be in this video but it was 6am, I still had over an hour of footage to go through, and it would have been 2 hours and 20+ minutes long. So, it's gonna be in an epilogue episode. Not sure if it'll be up Monday or Tuesday but it exists.

from what i looked up, the changes to Viconia was not Larian's fault. it is what is canon according to Wizards of the Coast. so it isn't the game you should be disappointed in. Larian, at the request of Wizards of the Coast, made her this evil in keeping with their version of Viconia rather than the one from previous Baldur's Gate games. and since WOTC owns the rights, Larian had to submit. A lot can happen in 100 years. 59:38 your teleport disengages you and only engaged entities get an Aoo.
Yeah, her still being with Shar is 100% wizards basically not having anything good for Shar and co-oping Viconia. But her being in BG3, mirror, all that's Larian. It's a mixed bag, ultimately, it's like I've said before when they announced BG3 I was both happy they were doing DnD, and disappointed it was BG3. BG2 had a definitive ending. No more Bhaalspawn, no more Bhaal. Obviously no more Bhaal won't be cannon. So, a lot had to be reconned to make BG3 happen. Even with all that it's still one of my favorite games of all time.

Ahh just tried it. I think I went to go play it, saw the picture didn't change and just never 'actually' placed it on the ground. Would be nice if we could put it up on a wall or something. Not that there's much reason to decorate some back alley in BG lol.

@@TheEpicSpire Yeah I've seen other people have an actual like inn room for a camp site. And kinda put the two n two together awhile back but never did it in that playthrough. Mostly assumed it was Elfsong tavern, will definitely be doing that on my 2nd playthrough.
if the radial menu would stay how i set it, it would be fine. i would put the unsummon, on it's own radial by itself at the end of the menu. but noooo it has to reset everytime. actually i don't think we can even move summon radial options. seems like i tried once and it wouldn't even select the button to move it.
i was very upset with the Dribble reward. My Resist Durge wanted slaughtered the entire circus. Waste of time. Late game item for crap. It would be good on a Warlock for the Eldrich Blast. 1d10 +5 +5 +1d8 etc... but -5 to the attack is absurd.
Yeah, it's kinad funny because the d8 can't crit, a +10 can't. but the avg dmg 'on a crit' from a d8 is 9. 10 is still 1 more than that and consistent, and doesn't need a crit. The amount of items you need just to compensate that -5 is... I dunno. I'd probably rather have the consistent hit chance at that point most of the time.
@@adhinjtplays well the chicken thing was an easter egg referencing Zelda games where if you kill a chicken you would get flooded by more angry chickens that would just spawn in or something.

The Gnome that you killed.. i mean let die from the wind mill cause you dared to explore the underdark.. the dead one at the blighted village.. he has a chance to talk sense into Walnut in this scene. Dude's still a major asshole.
Yeah he's a giant pile of garbage. Part of me is hoping I can either A, kill him in this confrontation on another less nice but still nice-ish playthrough (my ranger idea comes to mind). Or maybe go back to that guard at the bridge and rat on him to get him imprisoned/executed.
8:13 the reason that didn't have a DC check is because you can only use the Illithid wisdom stuff once per short or long rest. In Act 1 when you get the option to control the branded people, and you use it, the next time you come across one without resting, it tells you that your tadpole is tired or something like that. I think if you do the creche thing and become Awakened, then that no long applies.
30:24 that bench is wear you can build a new Heart for Karlach. sucks to be you. Nah, j/k. but if speak to a steel Watch with Karlach in the party, it tells her to report to this factory to get dismantled as it can detect a faulty mechanical feature or some shit. i spent 4 hours looking for a way to repair her heart here. even placed a heart, enriched infernal iron, and some blue print i found that sounded like it might work. I think it was a dropped story arc or something.. maybe wishful thinking....
That is some rude as shit to do to players about Karlach. Does make me wonder wtf the bench is for, IF it can even be used for anything. There was the crossbow schematics.
if you have a full conversation with the dwarf driver dude, he tells you that he aimed for Hollie. He had every right to be executed by the Priestess. Also he willingly served Gortash.. so.... fk him
i like how you have 6 rounds to get this done.. which is 36 seconds, but the conversation with Mizzora would kill everyone cause she is a waste of time speaking. lol
Yeah, I had a feeling I basically missed out on something useful with that. One of those make sure I explore the whole town before going after Orin situations for other playthroughs. Having Gortash basically say one of your owns been kidnapped when you first enter the city does put a mental timer on it, even if there isn't one in the game you know?
58:51 And see, this right here is where you went wrong with Shart. you threw her in camp and only used her when you needed her. barely spoke to her (i don't blame you.. i let her die on the nautaloid to the cambion with the sword so she is dead on the beach.) If you would have done the same to Astarion, that DC would have been much higher. you reputation/relationship with all of them lowers the DC. It makes sense. If i'm working a long day at work and want to come home and relax and my supervisor asks me to saty over.. i tell them no (I'm union, i'm allowed), but if a friend on the next shift asks me to work over and cover for them.. i am much more inclined to do so, even if i'm not completely happy about it.
Yeah, having a DC change based off companion status makes absolute sense. And Shart has A LOT of different gradients on that from what I've seen. Like to the point there won't even be a DC in the opposite direction and she just yeets the staff with zero mental struggle about it.
40:45 that 2nd option hits way harder when you are playing Resist Urge playthorugh.... gods, that has to be the best playthrough of the game i've done. soo intense. i know i talk about it a lot in these comments. but it was my 2nd playthrough and it felt like the first. it's also when i fell in love with Momma K.. which honestly was the reason it went from just a Durge to a Resist Urge playthrough. wish i recorded it.
this goes for the same thing as the Raise Undead BS.. Him using druid spells. I've had really good DMs pull the same shit. it's called The Rule of Cool and if Players can use it the DMs can. This Vampire lord has been around for centuries. i'm pretty sure he learned a thing or too. Hell.. we know that he has made deals with Devils in the past just to get this ritual, so ... well, not sure you know that, sorry. You didn't speak with Raphael after killing the orthon to get Astarion's answers. unless you cut that out of the video ...
No Raphael never showed back up after that one encounter with Astarion in Last Light so that never played out. But it's pretty obvious he made at least 1 deal once you learn about the ritual basically explaining this ritual involves a deal. As far as the Druid stuff I kinda find it amusing. Early on when Astarion is explaining a Vampire Lord powers I was like 'your describing druids right now'. And then I get to the actual fight and hes throwin' out Druid spells heh.
You can't persuade a charmed person. the charm overrides any mundane attempt. but you can intimidate - cause basic self preservation kicks in, and Deception can trick them into thinking they are doing their job. Not having a persuade option actually makes more sense than if they gave you one. 28:56 One of the best parts about playing a Bard is that if you unequip your instrument.. you can whistle..

I which we could assign/ key bind abilities. i'm tired of hitting down to sneak and forgetting that cunning sneak isn't auto selected. or when i get the flight ability from the tadpoles.. why would i ever want to jump? up should be Flight!!!!!
i didn't know there was an actual code to get, i always read the cleaning staff note and then used water on the ground and a lightning arrow to force the door open... never tried the knock spell, but that works on the God Door to the NetherFell in Act 2, and on the Bhaal Door if you don't have the amulet... so it should work on the vault.
Huh, that's interesting. When I read the note about the water, I assumed it was more like a catastrophic failure thing not an oops, unlocks the door. Heh. Got to love when there's options like that.

Yeah I want to do at least one Durge playthrough. The whole redemption and just going full murder hobo for full bhaalspawn powers and whatnot. Absolutely no idea wtf either of those will look like or when it'll happen.
All the faults that this game has, i can forgive them for the story and fun... except for 1. Not giving us a chance to say "taters" to Karlach. Truly pisses me off.
Dude yeah you'd think that would come up if you had done the graveyard scene. If they ever do an expansion (where I assume anyone turned illithid will have their powers toned down). I want a raid to fix her heart and ability to say taters.
