When you pull apart are you using only your dominant hand to pull/toss, and is the other hand slightly higher? That should help to make it not toss straight up.
I have a few. I created the triforce string shape, also infinite sticktoss (suicide) into duicide, and 2 diabolo cats cradle are amongst my favorite diabolo tricks I came up with.
Do you have any videos or tips on performing darkside catches? I can throw and catch and orbit quite easily. But for some reason darkside catches give me fits and my clumsy darksides are really affecting my ability to chain together and utilize a lot of tricks smoothly.

Fixed axle is sometimes harder to spin at first than bearing. Do you have a narrow or wide axle? Thanks, that's awesome you're starting a diabolo that early on! I currently like to use Sundia Evolution diabolo, but before that liked using Henry Circus diabolos. I mainly use fixed axle as opposed to bearing diabolos.
To be honest, I was very impressed by your expertise in control. Specifically at the section where you demonstrated a forward/backwards movement in the trampoline. I suppose that (if in a close crowd with enough practice and control) it has the potential to make it look much more immersive of a trick.
Thanks! If you get more control with it, you can definitely manipulate it more and dance with the style. Look up Alexis Levillon, or Guillaume Kaprowitz I like how they use simple trampoline but with dance movement.
