How do I know if my flowerhorn has Hexamita instead of a internal parasite? or is it just the same? because I would need to know a back up plan if this method donsn't work out. My flowerhorn isn't as active, slow, stopped eating pellets but still eats blood worms, but always hides.
Same thing happened to my flowerhorn without eating for 5 days, recommended by my friend using melafix for a few days which can see it slowly recover. Try feeding pellets bit by bit
I prefer to use clear, because whitepoop is caused by a parasite in the fish's stomach, use clear and repeat every 24 hours, within 3 days the fish usually recover, using metronidazole and ciprofloxacin takes longer to heal because the use of this drug is mixed into water, if the whitepoop is not severe, I suggest changing 50% of the water for 1 week without using medicine, for more details, see another video on my channel, I hope the fish recover quickly
