I'm extremely privileged to play a part in the creation of media based around Aboriginal and Noongar Culture in this beautiful state of Western Australia. A big thank you to everyone featured on this website who have shared their culture and given us insights into parts of their lives for viewers to enjoy for generations to come. All the videos on this RU-vid channel have been written, directed and co-produced by the people that feature in them.
Moorditch! Both areas are so beautiful. I've especially spent lots of time at Jurien Bay. I found this document online. It was put together by the NRM Ballardong Noongar Elders Advisory Group. I really enjoyed it. You may already know of it but just in case you don't here it is - www.wheatbeltnrm.org.au/sites/default/files/knowledge_hub/documents/Nyungar%20Dictionary%20-%20Final%20-%20Website.pdf
How can you ignore this? Please vote for Gerry - obviously, he NEVER gives up. Why not give him a hand? Gerry is running for the Australian Senate. Vote Social Independents!!!
Great work Gerry, I'm looking forward to your 'How to Vote' card. A couple of professional promo videos with some younger energetic leaders supporting you would support marketing your older/mature sensible experience. Good on ya mate, Oz needs to move past the humbug, Ian
I had the true pleasure of conversation with Gerry Gergatos this morning. And I am speechless. This is someone we need in politics. My God, do we ever.
I am so deeply touched by this film. Dallas is such an amazing lady. What courage it takes to do what she does! Beautifully made film, Mike. It is a powerful tool to help create change and Dallas has such a powerful voice.
Powerful and deeply moving! Terrible what has been done to so many. People must speak out and justice must come. I'm also touched by the bravery of the Aboriginal women who spoke out in this film.
COMMENT BY ANTHONY SHANE: What incredible courage Dallas has shown in relating these terrible crimes perpetrated against her by so-called "men of God". The Benedictines need to be held to account for what priests, monks and even some religious sisters ('nuns') did to so many innocent little kids who were placed into their "care". Heaven itself cries out for justice!
Kya Gnany koorda= The biggest hello my friend Michael Lui I am so grateful for your amazing work you have done on all 3 RU-vid's. You are so talented and a awesome human being. I send my moorditj dardee = powerfully strong the best regards to you. Until we do our next Tubeyou stay well and happy.
Thank you Dallas. What a beautiful tribute to Annellise. Unfortunately I'm unable to attend tomorrow due to paying my respects to family for sorry business but would like the opportunity to have a yarn with you. Please ring me there or message me on my profile with a contact for yourself. With respect. Laurel
Beautiful Elder Dallas, so well written and produced, all love to you darl ling. You survived, I'm not sure i would've! Sadly this is a common story for alot of indigenous people. I volunteed respite with indigenous children in the 90s, their lives were bad and only got worse as they got older, it's all hidden the intergenerational trauma. One has to admire any indigenous person who has survived to adulthood XOXO
There is a 'gathering' on Sunday, the 6th December 2020 at the Perth Bell Tower at 12 noon. We hope to see lots of people there for little Annaliesse, and all other little victims. No doubt, the mainstream media will be silent and absent from this meeting. Enough is enough.
