What happened to "can we do this for 5 more years guys?" from the end of Abu Dhabi? Did they cut that message early, missing off "only if we are completely dominant and winning by 20s easily" He's won 3 titles, but he's no champion
Maxs dad is such a clown. Always found it odd people hold his statements with acclaim especially after he had a terrible f1 career and is living vicariously through his son.
I'm a McLaren fan, hands down, but Max keeps proving why he's one of the best; despite the clear issues with the car and the weaker configuration, he was still able to keep the podium based solely on driving skill. Honestly at this point I think that the only reason we see Checo as "a bad teammate" is because the car itself is going down the drain, but since we compare him to Verstappen we can't really see it. I really hope RB gets its mojo back. I don't want to see "one team dominations", even if it's McLaren. Mercedes, Ferrari, McLaren and Red Bull have potential to give us an amazing show of driving skill and I hope they achieve it!
I don't understand your point here, Max accepted the fact that they are really slow compared to McLaren. And, anyway, by the way I remember it, Lewis wasn't so happy with the pace of the car, it got to the point where Toto had to step in and shut him up. Your comment makes no sense, because they are amongst the greatest, and wanting to compete in the top no matter what is the true champion's mentality. Both Lewis and Max is the same in this way.

Max is a far better driver than Lando regardless of the performance of the car. For the last 9 race I expect Mercedes and Ferrari to be up front with those two. I am not happy with the way Mercedes are handling their drivers which is very obvious to the outside world who they are helping to qualify but that driver normally goes backwards during the Sunday race.
Sprint races are like instant gratification for people that don’t want to stay to watch a long race. Sprint eliminates team strategical mapping that involves a whole team contribution to winning. Consider having a sprint race in places like Monaco? What is the purpose as the leader can easily block any completion. There is no passing possibility. Instead of sprint races, just give the fastest time a win. That would satisfy the instant gratification. One thing that should be implemented is to remove races on courses (like Monaco) where passing is nearly impossible. More open course racing would be better for the fans.
Verstappen should be furious with himself and his father whose power politics has undermined RB success. On the other hand RB has started to pay the price for retaining Perez.
Bruce McLaren would be proud for his McLaren team. I remember watching their cartoon where the old crew chief says to Prof about never give up even if you encounter few bumps in the way. He gave the stopwatch to him where there is an engraving behind the clock. I have a hunch where Norris and McLaren would win this year if im not mistaken by championship standings. As for Max, the usual "trust your team" mindset notblame your failures to them.

The problem with the exploding popularity of F1 is that there are a whole lot of so called ‘experts’ that know f@ck all about F1 just parroting each other about cheating, fraud etc. F1 cars are scrutinised by the FIA during design, manufacturing and building of the cars and it’s separate components. At the racetracks before, during and after assembling the cars they are checked by FIA technicians. So anybody who thinks they can cheat does not know what he is talking about. If a team is engineering a system that is NOT specifically forbidden under the rules of the FIA they are just doing their job and doing it great. If halfway the season the FIA changes the regulations that does NOT mean that the team was cheating. Unless of course you think that if the gouvernement decreases the speed limit to 50, everybody that was driving 58 before the lowering of the speed limit should be punished afterwards.
