At the end of the series, iirc, Harry repairs his original wand with the Elder wand. Then the Elder wand was reburied with Dumbledore, Harry knowing his own passing would make it's magic moot. But I definitely remember Harry fixing his wand with it, because it was an old friend.
This has been very illuminating. Whilst I knew many of these and mostly agree with your explanation, I missed some of the tiny details because the audio description didn't include them. I once wrote a quirky fan story with the characters, as elderly rest home residents, watching themselves portrayed in the movies and some of these details would have provided great fodder. In a conversation between JKR and Screen Writer Steve Cloves, the latter admits that he didn't like Ron and wished that Harry had coupled with Hermione. This may also explain his weak writin gof Ginny's character, along with other inexpliciable changes. To me, this represents both an unforgivable lack of professional objectivity and a lack of respect for the source material. Sixth-years Fred and George in a fourth-year potions class with the trio? Really? Snape hitting the boys on the head with books? I don't think so. However, for me the most egregious and far-reaching alteration has been the radical softening of Snape’s character from self-pitying, embittered misfit to strict teacher. It’s something to which I personally could devote an entire video. This is particularly disturbing to me because I grew up under the ‘tender’ care of an authority figure who, like Snape with Harry, decided they didn’t like me. Unlike Harry, I was never given a reason and it began at the age of five and lasted 14 years instead of seven. Inexplicably, JKR herself seems to have been complicit in this change; she instructed Alan Rickman that Snape never raises his voice. This, of course, is erroneous. Snape loses his rag several times in the series; and when he loses it he really loses it. The movie also chose to leave out his more professionally questionable actions such as threatening to poison Neville’s toad and sabotaging Harry’s work. The reasons for this are never explained. Is it the adult obsession with sweetening things for children even though said children will probably enjoy the bloodier versions more than their parents? Terry Pratchett comments on this in his books. The upshot of all this is that between Alan Rickman’s masterful portrayal and the softening of Snape from an abuser to an intimidating teacher with a romantic twist, Snape has a huge fan movement all to himself - even to the extent that a group of mainly middle-aged women invented a quasi-religion around him in the early naughties. While I find the book character endlessly fascinating (the juxtaposition between apparently high IQ and very llow EQ, for instance), with my personal experience this is anathema to me. It almost feels like these people are excusing, justifying or condoning the abuse against Harry -and by extension, against me.

Wasn't mew referenced as a "foetus" pokémon back in blue and red version ? I think that's what they mean by ancestor of all pokémon. Mew Can transform into any pokémon because he is the foetus of every one, specially early pokémon such as nido family, starters or ryhorn. Pokémon that look like objects like magnetite or voltorb may not Come from this foetus. Well, métamorph Can be missed attempt to create a foetus, and Mewtwo the good result unfortunatly mix with humans which makes him quite aggressive.
As a kid I always thought that you or the pokemon cracks the TM open and something gets absorbed in to the pokemon. Now I'm 30 I feel there was maybe a more sinister explanation 😅

Book 3... During Harrys first class with Lupin , the class was to think of something funny and apply it to what scared them. Ron put skates on the huge spider but Harry didnt get the chance to because Lupin stepped in front of him. I know what I would have thought of, what about anyone else?
Book 7 A lot of Hogworts students were punished with torture by the Death Eater- Teachers. I was wondering if Filtch took part in any of the punishments towards the students. He always seemed to wish he could. If he did could you imagine the trouble he would have when the school reopened?
I'm so glad you mentioned Snape's failure to see Pettigrew's name on the map when delivering lupin's Wolfsbane. However, it's another Snape action which I think is a huge plothole and it has to do with memories, the pensieve and storage. Why on earth did Snape, deliberately and in front of Harry, store his private memories in a pensieve - a vessel for viewing memories only? If he had removed these memories prior to every occlumency lesson and stored them in a flask which he then kept on his person, Harry would never have been the wiser. Putting his private memories in front of Harry and then leaving them there while he leaves his office is stupidity on the level of writing your password on a post-it note and sticking it to your computer monitor - and Snape, although many things, was not stupid. Of course, Harry need not have looked, but that's my point. If JKR hadn't had Snape so blatantly display that he had memories he wished to conceal … On thestrals, Harry didn't actually 'see' Cedric die; his scar was hurting him so much that he was forced to close his eyes against the pain and only heard the thud and guessed what was happening. Them showing the snake shed skin obviously tells us that the snake has been growing..We dont know how big or small it was when it was using the pipes. For all we know it was the size of a regular snake before

I have a theory that Factory Striders are specifically designed to deal with Helldivers. Hear me out: So, the first tenet in my theory is that most likely designed to do battle with standard SEAF forces in trench warfare. I think this because most bots with armor concentrate their armor entirely in front, but leave weakpoints exposed for cooling in the back. If you're designing something to fight a small group of heavily armed guerillas this makes zero sense, but where it DOES make sense is advancing forward on heavily entrenched positions (aka the opposite of what helldivers tend to do). This design philosophy makes bots very weak to our sneaky helldivers, and thus the robots would want to make an answer to the helldivers instead of relying on their mainline units as "good enough". One strategem can remove an entire bot patrol, giving them zero time to react. Now let's look at factory striders: Ridiculously tall, heavily armored all around, capable of shrugging off strategems, able to deploy it's own reinforcements to help it react to surprise attacks and equipped with the perfect grade of weaponry to shred unmounted helldivers OR helldiver mechs. The immense height lets the strider shoot over cover most bots can't breach, their heavy armor ensures they can always at least React to the helldivers - and possibly kill a few, the squad of devastators is gonna be able to distract ADHD divers long enough for the main walker to turn around and shred offending divers, and those miniguns are a sentence of certain doom to anyone they lock upon. Overall, the factory strider seems like it's specifically designed with protecting bases from Helldivers, not trench warfare against SEAF in mind.

I'm also confused about how the houses work, presumably there would never be an equal number of students in each house because each of them has their own attributes that the hat will sort them by, and there's no way it's going to magically be an equal amount of students for each house, but that is what seems to happen in the series so how does THAT make any sense? Especially considering things such as only pure bloods can get into slytherin, and with so few actual pure blood families left and the few who do exist will still also end up in other houses then Slytherin would have like 2 kids while a house like Hufflepuff who takes everyone would have hundreds? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!
I never understood why they don't just kick people out the second the sorting hat puts them in Slytherin! There aint a witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin so it seems like it would solve all the problems.
@46:41 This theory tracks, as I recall people noticing on Automaton controlled worlds, the bodies of SEAF personnel sitting around Automaton installations in piles as if being processed for some purpose. It is likely that not only are Helldivers, Super Earth Army, Navy, Militia, and even Civilians are being harvested and repurposed for Automaton soldiers.
10:45 this might be common knowledge but once rereading the book 4, for divination homework Ron is “making things up” and gets them all right, basically predicting all three wizarding tasks: - get injured or burnt on Monday (dragon task) - lose a treasured possession on Tuesday (lake) - something else about the maze or cup for Wednesday (maze) So this definitely confirms it somehow!!
I always found it kind of interesting how the sacrifice was out of love with Lily (being a master of charms) sacrificing herself for Harry but it's Harry who seems to get all the credit. But you really can't blame the world for outpouring their appreciation for Harry indirectly and yet at the same time his fame can really be detrimental to him.
it should have been green & red 4 opposite colors like they have been doing for years i remember playing pokemon red after playing emerald so it wasnt as fun because of the graphics but was still fun though
