As a 35+ year Seahawks fan I will say not a bad little documentary, but I have to add. You should’ve mentioned when they brought John Snyder and also as GM I am up to this point. 20:56 so if you do mention it later on, for some reason, my apologies. 12th man

The final score of super bowl 26 was 37-24, not 27-24, and it wasn't even that close. Gibbs was a respectful coach and never wanted to embarrass his opponent.

But still the only independet superbowl w's on this tree came from kubiak and mcvay. their leadership and desicion making under pressure shown as superior to the other coaches.

Interesting video but it seems to leave out a lot of actual playing history. After the Chicago era players names were never mentioned. Even though they have lost more than they have won many great players have passed through their rosters. And some good coaches as well who for some reason don't get mentioned.

Find A. New hobby you used such a bad example.Let's talking about the 725 pound bench press.He did on tape.
@FootballAncestry
@FootballAncestry 2 месяца назад
I enjoy this hobby, so I don’t think I will. I’m seeing he benched 700 pounds, not 725, regardless it’s impressive. I also don’t see why I can’t also talk about his showcase at the pro bowl. Both are examples of his insane strength, it’s not mutually exclusive. Additionally I chose to talk about his pro bowl performance because I originally released this short during last year’s pro bowl. So I won’t find a new hobby and this example is just fine. Have a good day

You missed one on the Lombardi coaching tree, Lombardi hired former Iowa coach Jerry Burns as his defensive backs coach. He then was Bud Grant's offensive coordinator with the Minnesota Vikings before he took over the coaching reins. He would coach Minnesota for six years compiling a 52-43 records before retiring. Lombardi hired Burns after he had coached Iowa to a 1-10 record in his final season and kept him around until he moved on to the Redskins.

I'm foolish for the Cardinals (well, at least it isn't a woman) but I think the Pottsville Maroons won that title. Playing those Notre Dame crew messed them up. But, as this video mentions, there was a lot of barnstorming back then, to promote the new league. Lots of people back then played for the love of the game.

Sid Gillman was a genius when it came to football! Many times I saw his San Diego Chargers come to Kansas City to play the Chiefs and the passing game (John Hadl to Lance Alworth, Gary Garrison and many others) was a treat to watch. Kansas City always had a pretty strong defense, so the matchup of the Chargers offense vs the KC defense was worth the admission price. Gillman understood strengths and weaknesses of defenses and called plays accordingly. Those games were always fun to watch. Long Live the AFL!
