Your comments on the Jones Act are not quite accurate. The Jones Act only covers shipments between US ports. The Jones Act basically says that all shipping between US ports must employ US crews and US shipping companies. All US ports, NY, Baltimore, LA are subject to this rule. Shipments from other countries to PR can and do arrive on non-us ships. However, many foreign shipers choose to go the the US first, thus incurring extra cost to unload/reload to a US ship to move the goods to PR. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Merchant_Marine_Act_of_1920
The truth; Puerto Rico sucks! There are four times as many Puerto Ricans living in the states, is on the island. That should tell you a lot about how much they like the place. It's actually not the geography, it's a beautiful island, but the people have made it unlivable.
As a kid I lived at Ramey AFB. It is now a destination airport like San Juan where you can fly directly from Florida. There are hotels, house rentals and car rentals at the old base too so you can do the west side of the island without ever going through San Juan if you choose. Crash Boat Beach is a must.
Ok many of you are not going to like what i write here. Here we have an American with what seems to be a filipina idk oriental trying to live in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is for Puertoricans is not for everyone, if you're not happy there then go back to your respective countries period.
Your wife looks japanese or Chinese... Why haven't you guys tried an Asian country? Does your wife have family in an Asian country ? She sounds like she had some sort of accent.a cent.. Her accent is not a Latin accent so I'm guessing it's Asian.
On every USCIS official paper work it states that any moving or changing any thing you must let them ASAP.. How come you still have your green card that was supposed to be taking back day of interview.
Many Filipinos are coming to San Juan PR to attend an an inauguration of a new church called PMCC Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch). It’s the 50th church in the USA. Thank you salamat po. Address - 55 Calle Esteban Padilla, Bayamon in June 2 at 2:00 pm . My Filipina wife would be happy to see you and many others that live in the island . Thank you 🙏
you guys are so cute, I'm visiting Agusdilla for the first time in a week, and this is very helpful, I just need a simple, down-to-earth place, and this is it, I got a great deal with a Airbnb, looking to travel on a budget, I'm originally from Cuba, and Puerto Rico is the sister island, I love the people, and I feel I'm in Cuba, with no nostalgia, thank you for sharing
Extremely bad Puerto Rico , the worse is to come , nobody can live from fruits they give for free , Work , Documents, Payments of bills , i dont think you will survive , plus if huricanes comes this country will be the last to receive gasoline and food , earthquakes , terror , bad country , expensive foods , taxes , renting is bad property manager can come to your apartment breaking the tenants rights , broken streets , electricity water can be missing , dont even think twice , your going to leave 100% , people making you struggle with documents , leave and make your future out in Florida or California , maybe Hawaii , but this is the worse of the worse nighmare you can have , hunger and lack of jobs , you got to be mayor or family member to have a job , sorry but your on the wrong Island knowing theres more good places to live if you can work , but at 7hour your busted finished .
On what date did you do the Oat ceremony for certificate? I know you did the interview October 17, but I'm curious as to how long it takes for the ceremony.
You paid way way too much. We live in Puerto Rico for 6 years now we lived all over the island now we have our own house in Aguada. You got gringo priced cut 50% minimum
Lucky you are on the west side of Island. That would be my choice as well. I had little choice but to be in the metro area due to work. I have been here before for work. Therefore not surprised on the lawless driving, potholes and traffic. What I did not know were these unmuffled offroad vehicles (two and 4 wheel drive)driving up and down certain streets dusk to dawn. Also the loud music (that I will tolerate). Cops don't do anything about this nor the lawless driving. GO figure
I love everything in this video. The adventures, the rap, story telling was smooth, transitions, music. You can be a movie producer. I am following you brother. Thank you for sharing your story. I wish to interview you someday.
Puerto Rico owes America big time, everytime you have a storm we bail you out. Then we find out the boss of your island hid some of the supplies we give you. Without the diesel from America you would starve. Puerto Rico needs that Hotel. For $ from us. You have no manufacturing, no jobs I know because me friend owned a chain of ice cream shops and he barely makes it. He told me your generation doesn’t go above and beyond. Build more surf camps for Americans, Puerto Rico kids …..get to work
I heard someone case na, over a year na di pa dumating un 10yrs Green card nila so ngfile na sila derecho ng US citizenship at approved naman siya. As long as na reach mo na yun 3yrs requirements as PR & married with US citizen I think good to go to file N400 kahit wala pa un 10yrs GC mo on hand. :)
Stay out of Puerto Rico..if your not from here then you should not say anything about our island ...your not even a puertorican national ...ppl just like to talk shit about nothing they know about ...don't try to be a puertorican if your not ...plain and simple
