I’m an RN. I used the pandemic to pay off my student loans. I got a side hustle teaching nursing students. I felt that 0% interest during the payment pause was as good as it’s going to get. I paid off $62,000 of student loans and I paid off my $20,000 car note. The grind was worth it. Now I’m saving more for retirement and have a 6 mos emergency fund. I budget every month to make sure I’m contributing to my savings.
Your a education nurse who got injured, and Didn't report it? Did you get treatment? A doctors report and cost of visit? If you accidentally hurt a patient you would be held accountable. Why not this hair braidr? Don't protect her name! Let people know. You are warning other clients from her carelessness! Stop letting karma or the air. Or fate to right the wrongs done to you. At least do a charge back on your card of the money you paid tge flunky excuse of a hair braider.
nursing student here, we did a clinical at L and D it was horrible! the nurses were in the station just talking and gossiping all day. They would gossip about how a Doctor talked, made fun of his accent. Then this patient came to be triaged and they were basically calling her slow because she answered the questions not confidently... it just rubbed me the wrong way that they're doing this so freely infront of a student. what do they do when nobodies there?
I guess I'm kinda behind the times, because back when I was getting my hair done did 24 years ago, no one ever asked for a deposit. You gotta lay down $50-100, with no guarantee that the service will even be provided, and in some cases no ability to get your deposit back. No thanks, I'll do my own hair!

Oh my goodness. Just happened be surfing and I come across your page. I think you amd your hubby are from Atlanta Ga. if you are thank you for visiting my Home state of NJ and yhe city of Atlantic City. The history about Chicken Bone Beach it got its name because during the segregation period the food shop on the boardwalk refused to sell food to colored as we were called back then. Soooooo the easiast food to prepare and tranport was chicken and it was put into a box along with the beach gear for the degregated beavh at Missouri ave. Once the colored folks fonished eating the chicken they would bury the bones in the sand. The city eorkers who vleaned the beach each day would finf these bones only at the segregated beach and they nick named Missouri ave CHICKEN BONE BEACH. That name has been around for many years. I see y'all found Kelsy and Kim's on Kentucky Ave and Pacific. Great food and entettainment place. There second location in Atlantiv City is at Melrose and Newhamshire ave. Great place for bteakfast.
It’s honestly not that bad you get a little bit of everything, still get to labor pts occasionally, but not the fast pace of having labors all the time
People are soooo opinionated on the internet. I’m happy for her. While that is not possible for everyone realistically speaking. I use tell my husband when he use to consider working out the country, I didn’t get married to be a single mom. Who would want to be a single mom? Not me. My kids are older now but my husband presence is missed when he’s away for work.
I think it’s a great idea you’re waiting to have kids. I was married and my husband was not a bad father, but he worked too much which resulted me in being married single mom. So when I went to nursing school for ME and to better myself, it became an issue. Which led me to being divorced. Good for her that she has all those things, but honestly that’s not average. No rush at all to have babies, but sometimes it just happens. I don’t think any of us plan to be a single mom lol. Being a single mom is HARD AF!!!! You’re right everyone is entitled to an opinion….what I didn’t agree with was some of the language she used towards single moms or moms in general saying they look “miserable and battered in the house” just bc they aren’t going to the spa or have a nanny. Choice of words matter. Nothing at all wrong with your thoughts….just my opinion coming from a mom who was a single married mom. 😘

I’m a single mom and it’s hard so don’t struggle if you don’t have too! Save them kids for a later date haha. I went to nursing school being a single mom n it was scary but made it through and I don’t have to struggle or put my kids through the struggle ❤
Chile this why I just stayed in a community college and avoid all that drama. Not a fan of loans or debt. Being a nurse is already hard and the pay doesn’t match. Adding debt just for the “college experience” ain’t worth it to me.
As an Earth Sign (Taurus) no I feel you because I am like how did I fail this by two points! My teacher would not give us a review of where we messed up on the test. This semester drove me crazy
That's it's a different between a Cosmetologist and a Hairstylist. I know people like to down shop women because of the prices, but it's worth it! Cosmetologists usually care about the integrity of the hair and client of the hair! Not just style it! IJS In Cosmetology School now! Graduating in 2 weeks!
