This channel was created for me to help you become a better angler! I was in the education field for 12 years with experience of coaching football in the college and high school ranks. I was a mathematics teacher in the public school setting and I feel like if I can teach mathematics then I can teach you fishing techniques (both old and new). I am currently a high school fishing coach as well!
For the last year I have created content for Bass Fishing Declassified and Fish The Moment! I will continue to be in videos on BFD!
I have a passion to help others become better. This is not only in fishing but in life.
Please subscribe and enjoy the ride! Lets Go Fish - Jimi Easterling / Coach E
I have one, I have not tried it much but haven't had a bite. I am also a new fisherman, I am sure that has something to do with it. Thanks for the info.
Please don't apologize for using ffs. It's a great tool. People have been lied to about ffs and don't have a clue how hard it can be. Stand your ground for the equipment you use. Bless your hard work.
Thanks for sharing! Yeah people also get surprised when I go in their boat and do the lessons when I catch them and they do not cast well or work the bait right. They see it takes practice. You can use it for a many of ways too! Thanks for sharing about the pole mount. I prefer it on the TM
You got my favorite spotted bass jig on there and I caught some on the tail spinner today! Try the evergreen jt 95 topwater. It is the smallest 3 hook model topwater I know of and it has been doing well for me. Good video.
Level NGX 6’10 jerkbait rod. There is a link in the description that leads to Level website. If you have any more questions on the rods. You can send me a message on my FB. 👍🏽
There are a lot of factors I would consider to help you on this. If it is constantly dropping then I would try to find fish near or above the thermacline. Start on the mainlake and then go into mouth of the creeks. If thermacline is gone then they can be anywhere. I would look for bass in cover that has good depth on it. If it is grass then the outside edge toward deeper water / trees I would do the same thing. If the lake has a lot of rock then they can be real close to the bottom on rock near deeper channels
First comment I have received like this asking if I am drunk. Have a great day Bruce. I did not cover every bait either. Or the entire lake as well. Have a wonderful day Bruce
Coach, I just wanted to share your testimony at the end. It really made my hair stand as I'm getting my 7 poles ready for my weekend club tournament By the grace of God, I have 7 years, 13 days, and some change clean off of drugs. I grew up fishing tournaments young as my dad has been the tournament director for 30 years, here in ohio. Not gonna go too deep, but I got out of fishing, went down an ugly path jails, institutions the only thing left was death. I lost jobs people would kill for, houses, girlfriends, my family, cars etc..... Last time out, I was looking at 13-30, and my dad was diagnosed with leukemia. But NOW, I just got my 1 bass boat! My family and I are close. My dad is my fishing partner, I have a job cooking, not anyone's "dream job," but I enjoy it.... What I'm getting at i that none of that material stuff matters. At 37, I feel 18 again. Thank you for the video, my dude💯🎣
Im not Jimi but i would recommend anywhere that 6-8' comes close to deep water.Another good place would be where you caught them in the spring. In the fall they will head back to those shallower spots where they spawned, to feed up for the coming winter. They should be in one of these 2 spots.Hope this helps and tight lines to you!!
My fishing lake is a 500 acre reservoir where the deepest is 14 ft with average 6-8 ft. No thermocline. where would you fish. the majority of fish have shown up on Active Target in the 6-8 ft areas following bait fish. Thanks
BASS FISHING101. 🤷🏼♂️ No matter what anyone tells you to do with any bait do the complete opposite first that way you limit out before not catching anything fishing it the right way. 😉👍🏼🙏🏼
Just watched yesterdays MLF team series day 3 and late in the 2nd period the weights were 11 lbs, 5lbs, 1lb and 1lb. I watch almost every Bass/BPT live event but I'll be honest, it was so boring I had to turn it off. The 1st 2 days were fine but when there's no fish being caught its almost unwatchable. May have been fine for the 1 hour TV shows but now there is 4-6 days of 8 hour full coverage.
Thanks Jimi for the demonstration of the Krej lure. I think that the constant reeling of the lure is key. It has enough side to side action. I purchased 2 a little while back.
Big difference in 360 and watching live video of a bass swimming bro, it’s not right to be able to run around with a sonar that shows everything so you don’t have to know how the bass react to the seasons or conditions, you should have to find them without having a video of them live
I get that. I use it more then the normal human. I have been on the water for 42% of the days of the year up to this point. I teach people how to use it, I am an advocate for people to use it but for tournament sake... if we want to know the TRUE BEST angler.... read down below. Lets go back to 18 ft boats, map only, and 2d sonar. I also see it this way. A true fisherman does not need a spot lock TM to catch bass offshore. Also for sight fishing a bass on a bed, no need for power poles go catch that fish without the poles.
There's a new system coming from China that connects to IPad and IPhone and hopefully Android in 2025. Supposedly cost $900 that is 1/5 the cost of FFS and does the same thing. I might do that when it comes. I want to learn and catch fish when I'm out. Only get 6-8 hrs a month to fish and I want to maximize thar time. I give to F's about what the drama I'm not trying to make a living as an angler.
Thanks for sharing! That is crazy! I do see products coming out that will be more affordable. Typically happens. I believe most of the people.... do not care about the drama. They just want to learn how to catch fish and go do it themselves.
