I have 12 plates aftter MMA surgery. I am older and have thin skin. I don't want to have something happen when I'm much older. I have heard 20.years is the lifespan of the plates. What is your take on this? I am 4 months out and trying to decide about hardware removal surgery. There is not enough information about the titanium plates and screws. Any info is greatly appreciated.
