I went on a blind date to the kings head in early 1981, the beginning of the season and I worked nearby at the Royal Hotel as a waiter, brought back nice memories…👍

Mostyn Street, the Times Square of Llandudno. Well, that's what I called it as a kid. And now you have Harvey's New York Bar. I must've been way ahead of my time 😃 Used to love getting my I-Spy books from WHSmith and popping into 'Woolies'.
Don’t care how many people slate this hotel, I love staying here, admittedly a bit shabby but the views are stunning, it has such character and a really good vibe, so happy to hear its being re vamped ❤️ love your videos, keep up the good work 🙂
I worked there in 89 for about 6mths..Butlins owned it then.............it is after all a "budget" hotel etc..........if people want luxury then be prepared to pay for it etc........its in the "Best" spot....happy valley /great orme close by etc..........a few places to have a relaxing drink and not far to walk back etc.............what more could u want..............
My wife and I have just returned yesterday from a short stay in Liverpool, but we had a day trip to Llandudno too. We had never been there before but were very impressed. The town seems very clean and well looked after. The view from The Great Orme summit was amazing too. We'll certainly visit again Regards from Whitley Bay
Llandudno is a beautiful Victorian Town, the Grand Hotel was once Grand, sadly owned by the Brittania chain, say no more ! Just a liitle trick with the Gulls, after one nicked a flake clean off my 99er cone, I now take a little brolly when eating outdoors, that foxed the pesky gulls, 😂
Enjoy your pint Sully, and if I see you around I'll give you a shout out . Only not very loud as Mrs Jake doesn't like loud noises. All the best Jake Everyman.
@@sullysixty Thank you so very much . Llandudno is our home away from home and love your humour and positive outlook on Llandudno. I'll certainly let you know 👍👍👍
