This is good advice. Lately, everyone just camps the loot rooms, but rushing the spawns opens up the rest of the map for looting. I've cleared the whole map, then killed the remaining campers, or you can ignore them and take the loot. Keep your ears open.
@@flowless1773 It takes some getting used to because it’s a lot less protected than succ, but def worth. I fell in love with zerk after I swapped to awk
For people watching this recently, a really good gun to use is the CX8 storm rifle ( forget the actual name, it’s something like that ) it’s the rifle with the mag weld in the grip of the gun, it has 3 rails, one for a sight, 2 for lasers or flashlights, and one for foregrip.
It's extremely frustrating to get it set up, but I promise it's 100% worth it. Best way is to go through each gun and set them individually, and just do small tweaks and then check to make sure it works. LONG process but you'll eventually get your favorite guns set up. Big help for me was looking at the pins in the Ghosts of tabor gunstock discord. Still annoying but it helped.
I run this with quest optimizer -natively at 4k with high textures on quest 3. Crazy. Game looks like a quest game 2 if you don't use quest game optimizer app. Bit of a learning curve to enable debugging easily after power cycle but boy oh boy is it worth it. Basically lets you change all graphical settings for all games, game changer.
Quest Games Optimizer is awesome! Ghosts of Tabor looks PCVR quality with it. Just uses more battery which I compensate for with my own home made setup of 2 cheap 30w power banks and quest 3 cord run under shirt into pocket. Cycle between the power banks, charging one while using the other. The headset only dies out due to me forgetting to swap power banks - otherwise this system is good forever! PCVR quality AND unlimited battery! Heat is the only issue that I am struggling to tackle next, though I haven't hit dangerous heats yet.
What router did you upgrade to? I tried running this game and i keep getting 60-80 Latency spikes and my gun aiming feels sluggish. My gaming PC is no slouch either (AMD 7900 XTX gpu). I have a dedicated 5ghz router for the game and use VD with HVEC codec. Game looks great in it but gameplay was sluggish and kept getting stutter lag. Im thinking prolly need to upgrade to the 6 ghz. and do you do virtual gunstock?
I upgraded to a AXE5400 for my router and it made a night and day difference. Something specific was wrong with the network on the Quest 3, so AX models worked better. I also use a physical gunstock so I don't use the virtual setting, but I did use it before and loved it.
Im using an old Google wifi puck dedicated to my VR separate from the main house wifi, and in the room with me. Use H264+ and test your streaming mbps between 50-150. If you start getting the stutters when you turn, turn it down. I use low graphics quality, 100mbps desktop, 140mbps streaming. The graphics would be a bit sharper with a standard linked headset, but it's very playable and I'm wireless finally.
