You and others like you got me interested in panning in the UK. The book is a great resource and while it is a good thing to publicise the potential gold areas, I can't help thinking that we on a slippery slope to having the hobby banned as casual users of the info who don't have the care for the environment will bring the hobby down. I hope it is not the case but can't help thinking that all the attention could be a negative in the long run.

i use my super sluice pan out in the desert cause you can dry pan. when i cant see the target i wear a ring on each hand. i have a a52 sluice when it gets warm out here (california) you go to the mountains when its cooler you can go all over the place suppose to go to the desert this weekend. have a good day boss
