It’s one of my favorite memories of my last Disney World trip. The ironic part, my family was supposed to be in Magic Kingdom, but it way too crazy. So, we went to Animal Kingdom. My mom wasn’t sure about a “Disney zoo”. Between this show, and the safari, she ate her “just a Disney zoo” comment really quick!
Thank you for your very helpful video, your son is adorable. My wife and I are going to book there in Feb 2025 and I had a quick couple of questions. We're you provided coffee and did it get replenished daily? Did you have Housekeeping and did they give new towels each day? Were the pools heated? And finally, I saw the toiletries on the wall in the shower, can you tell me what brand they were by any chance?
We weren’t provided daily housekeeping , since I didn’t stay longer then 3 days, housekeeping for me wasn’t needed. But they did say if we needed anything refilled to call the front desk. There was coffee and I did ask for refills, came right away. The toiletries name is Soapbox. And yes the pools are heated, which we loved! Pools are too cold once the sun goes down, so heated pools are definitely preferred. Glad you liked the video! We also have videos from Grand Vista Resort and Sheraton Vistana Resort Villas, both are also Marriott Vacation Club.

Nice video. I read a lot of reviews complaing about a musty smell in the room, did you encounter that problem? Also do they allow you to use the pools after you have checked out as well as the day you get there before check in time? What phase was your room in?
I’ve stayed several times and never dealt with a musty smell. And yes you can use the facilities on check out day. I always go to the pool on check out day and change in the bathrooms. I live locally, so I shower when I get home. They don’t offer showers at the pool bathrooms
Most likely you will not only not be able to get an Annual pass for just epic for at least until 2026, it will be very expensive to get just an Epic pass, much smarter to get a full pass to all 3. My guess 449 for just epic, or 549 for All 4 Parks - Source Remembering Islands opening 1999, Volcano Bay opening 2016-17, Trustable rumors.
It would be worth it at that point $549 for all four parks, but I feel like they may up it to match Disney Prices. No block out dates $800? I know a lot of ppl will pay that, not sure if I’m one of them though.
I think they should kick off the event with a Jollywood Holiday Motorcade featuring all of the characters who will be meeting and greeting that night right down Hollywood Blvd. A fleet of festively decorated convertibles carrying the Disney Stars who would be in attendance that evening for the gala event. In the old days, they used to unload the stars in front of the Chinese Theatre like it was a Hollywood Premiere. This would add more glamour to the event and substiture for a full on parade.
