Nestled on the southern end of Georgian Bay, Wasaga Beach offers the world's longest freshwater beach with 14 kilometres of sand beach, warm clean water, a panoramic view of the Blue Mountains across the bay, a scenic river and a dramatic sand dune system; all surrounded by acres of natural parkland known as Wasaga Beach Provincial Park.

The community offers a variety recreation opportunities, suitable for all seasons including: trails for hiking, cycling and running as well as golfing, sports fishing and other water sports. Winter activities include several kilometres of groomed snowmobile trails, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and winter hiking. These recreational activities are complimented by a wide selection of special events taking place throughout the year, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and a variety of accommodation options.

Dear wasaga beach. As a fellow young citizen i would like to state in quote “please can i help you rebuild the splash pad the same way it was 3 years ago?” I know where everything goes so i would be happy to help

A twin pad arena including parking would take up much space . I can't believe that you think that placing it at main and beck in the centre of your new development would be a good location . You don't have much space to work with . Place this arena at the top of Main Street near the Walmart . This way it is close to your new downtown yet not placed directly in the centre of it. Thanks . Just a thought

build a new pad next to the existing one, then fix or tear down the old one. there is room for three ice pads up there. why destroy all the tourist accommodation built up over the last 60 years and still pretend you want to be in the tourist business.?
