This has taken me months and I’m still not done with it and you did it in 3 minutes. Thank you for freeing me from any pride that I may have had, and for freeing me from this mortal coil.
here we go: Alear will do all the work, you want roy on him for hold out + bonus stats while engaged. You also need to inherit sword power 5 and reprisal+ (veronica skill) to add true dmg to his attack based on missing health. to start, attack Nil with someone with Corrin for -4 to all his stats after combat and with someone with Soren and a fire tome for the -2 defense from anima focus. Veyle need the Alfonse ring for more dmg for Alear (you need to craft it).Put veyle near Alear for +1 dmg (fell protection) and someone with chrom for rally+ above (+3 to alear stats) Give Alear another action with Nel with veronica's contract (also boost Alear strenght). Seadall dance alear to do it again. After that you need to find a way to move Nel to do a godess dance with Seadall/Nel/Alear. You can inherit draw back like in the video or use a warp staff. Your chosen unit which need to be a backup for Byleth +4 str in godess dance use the godess dance. That unit must have inherited Corrin quality time skill to heal Alear letting him attack again. Nel contract Alear for another attack then must be moved out of the way (easiest way is to inherit reposition on anybody was hortensia in the video). Seadall come to dance Alear to end the map but he must be first healed since he is at 1 hp or else hold out wont proc). And thats it : this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Ctrq3LXz-ok.html can show you how to do it and explain steps by steps whats going on
I'm crediting you for this for a video of mine. Because I'll be real, I was not gonna spend 7 hours on one attempt of this map. I had classes to do and couldn't spend this much time for this lmao. Thank you for your genius.
it's on S rank ring Eliwood but you can do it in another way: you give Celica to Zelestia and destroy the armor that has the rescue staff and when you would use Draw Back, instead use Swap from Madeline and make Gregory teleport her away using the rescue staff you'll need to position your units differently but it does work
very interestingly, you can actually crit Nil w/enough attack power on a engage weapon, even if the display damage is 0(which normally means you can never crit), meaning you can punch straight through him with crits, probably provided he's debuffed with torrential roar I wonder if the crits are possible because the damage reduction is a flat 50 and not actually nullifying you or doing actual true 0 damage, which means crits and buffs+debuffs will work on him very well
@Powerghost man... should have realised sooner, i got him to destroy all the islands and kill every single lord except fogado and he came with loads of skills and life stones. After a gruelling 2 day 4 hr battle, i finally won
...and I thought I was hot 💩 for figuring out how to 1 turn Chrom's paralogue (edit: I got my Timerra to do an 80/81 attack sandstorm proc on an anima focused, draconic hexed fell Nil and it still did 0 damage for anyone curious 🫠... this strat is truly wild! wish I had the bond fragments and patience for it)
So how does this boss work at the beginning exactly? Do you have to attack it a certain number of times before you can actually damage it or something? I know it's tanky and needs to be debuffed, but is it at all like Nemesis from 3H where you can only damage him from breaking his barrier if you don't beat all 10 elites first?
Ngl I don’t get it either, the sigil clearly says it gives 50 damage reduction and reduces crit chance by 50%. Clearly the crit reduction is working but unless these are actually >50 + Nel’s Def attacks, they should not be this damaging
Edit- on rewatching the video, it does seem like alear is actually achieving around 79 attack with the full setup. Somehow Alear is starting the fight with 49 attack, I’m not sure how
Edit 2: Alear starts the fight that strong because of sword power 5 + push-ups. Theoretically you can actually increase it further with str increasing food iirc. Timerra attacks to apply draconic hex, Ivy attacks to apply def -3 from anima adept, Alear’s first attack is to take damage for reprisal. This setup is not possible without using the dlc emblems
@@chrisc4208 Corrin's Draconic Hex and Soren's Anima Focus (Fire) together gives the boss -7 def and -4 spd. Rally Spectrum from Chrom and Goddess Dance from Byleth adds 7 str and 3 spd required to double. Reprisal+ adds half of damage taken as damage (+16~17 damage after the first attack, up to 24~25 at 1 HP), while Sword Power adds another 10 atk with sword. Since Alear is using the enhanced Libération, there's another 15 atk bonus against Nil. Contract (Veronika's Dance) with a dragon unit also gives +2 all stats. Veyle's passive adds another 1 damage to adjacent units, and she has Alfonse ring which adds +2 on top of that. I dunno if Special Dance from Seadall is relevant, but that also adds 3 spd which is good for doubling. Basically, that's a net gain between 60 attack (worst scenario, rounding down Reprisal+ after the first attack) and 69 attack (nice) and I'm not considering doubling.
@@chrisc4208 Well it's not like a cluttered U.I. and the fact that it's not me playing the game would make this difficult to notice or anything. Could you be a little bit more of a pretentious douchebag, please?
I’ve got a video on it. The strategy was kinfa similar? Roy!Alear just bruteforcing the boss and me using all the debuffs i could- i didnt realize how good reprisal was as true damage
