I used tongs to pry them loose as they have suction cups for feet. Got seven total in one tomato vine. They were HUGE! I do feel sorry for them, they do have to eat but I gotta do what I gotta do.
100%!!! Bald faced hornets and yellow jackets are the WORST!!! We have had 3 large yellow jackets nest around the farm this year and they are a pain in the ass! 🤣
Much more likely to have a bent or failing spindle, or a tiny piece of stick wedged deep in a pulley, right on the inside surface that the belt rides on
Plant basil and marigolds. Don’t know which one works but planted them and never saw another one. They will eat a whole tomato plant over night. 😮 oh look for them at night with a black light. They glow. 😂
@@countrysidelivinginvirginia it got black and long antennas and they're bigger than female workers, female are like 2, 2,5 cm and male are 0,5, 1 cm longer
There’s an infestation on my bedroom roof outside the window I walked outside on my front porch and one stung me when I was literally taking my dog inside😭
Let me tell you something. This has NOT been my experience. They have been attacking me for YEARS abd thia year has been the worst. Slamming into my windows, aggressively chewing to get in. This is european hornet propaganda. 😅 they are evviiiillll
Why not feed them? Give them some sugar, fruit or honey, and meat for their larvae. They remember individual humans who do good to them, not only harm. I have friends who keep hornets and after a while of close contact they eventually become so docile that they let you pet them without flying away, and even scoop a handful from their nest with very little to no stings (There are some videos like this available).
You have been misinformed and are sharing potentially life threatening information!!! Yes that is a European Hornet, HOWEVER both males and females can sting multiple times over and over. Though usually don't unless provoked or near the nest. They CAN be aggressive and can swarm and kill a human who is allergic rather quickly. You are getting confused with Cicada Killers, which only the females can sting but are non aggressive and known to be "cool" as you said. European hornets usually have a redish color seen here and multiple yellow lines. Cicada Killers are black and yellow and only have 3 yellow lines. Please look into this because you are wrong and again could be sharing life threatening information.
For your chickens, get a kiddie pool, place about 4 to 5 bricks in it , put about 5-6" of water in it. Be sure to place this in the shade. It will take them a little bit to get used to it. 😊😊
