Best way to open I found out for me, is to squeeze the front cover half on the small “ridges” on each side like a medicine pill box. I used my thumb on one side and other four fingers on other side. The cover “caves” in and then flaps back out.

The way to open these is by squeezing the sides. Where the little markings on the side are at.
