This car build is from the late 90's and early 2000's era. Inspired from the SuperStreet, Import tuner, Nopi and Fast and Furious styles. This is a hobby car with small projects here and there. I have been modifying this car since 2002. The car can be seen at local car meets and shows in Tennessee. 93% of the build has been from a residential garage. No lifts or special equipment. No sponsors, Non-Profit build. Also on Instagram @ tunasmx_6 and sites.google.com/site/1994mx6
This is incredibly useful and valuable information! Thank you for taking the time to put this compilation together complete with parts diagrams and numbers!
Hi I'm just assembling my engine and I notice my oil pump have some cracks under where the relief valve plug is like yours, on the original. is it normal? I have another, but older (92) that doesn't have it.
Love to see some mx-6 love in 2024!!! Flashback to 2002. 18 year old me, F&F came out. senior in high school. Bought a 93 ls with borla exhaust, lowered, wheels, etc. Loved every minute of it. Something about the sound of the kl is chilling. Kept it for years and sold a couple years ago. Kinda regret but I would buy another one for a project in a heartbeat.

Hey guy. Just letting you know I fully appreciate your ride. I had a 93 mystere with the silver mx6 kick plates, black on black leather. I wish I kept it. Take care!
do you have a comparison of the factory rod/piston weight? I don't really need a stronger motor but I want to build a lighter, perfectly balanced, high comp motor that can take sustained high revs
buddy, you are planning to do a full review of your cool car, tell us about the work you have done, what you built it from and what you are planning, post a beautifully photographed MX-6 as a preview, enjoy watching this whole video + such a video will be easier to get into the charts ?
Miss my mx6, my first car was an m-edition, they will always have a special place in my heart...nice channel bro...i found tgat old M-edition but shes in bad shape if i can afford it I plan to go get it...too many projects right now tho...keep it up man.
When you are finished with the the engine, please send it to Ggermany 😄 I´m jealous that you have so many parts for the KLDE. there are few parts here in Germany. You are doing a great job. I like to see your progress. 😏👍
That´s a sick setup mate! I have a question for you. If I have an stock 1994 PGT and want to connect my oil catch can the same way you did, what can I do with the small air port at the intake elbow and the other at the intake manifold? I can see there is a hose that goes from the PCV valve to the intake manifold but you unplugged it from the intake manifold and connected it to the oil catch can. What did you with that port at the intake manifold where you disconnected that hose from? Did yoy just capped it?
Sweet video! I had a built ZE, DE G4 hybrid with a T66 back in the day, miss it! Would be cool to close deck on of these and see how far the platform can go!
