I was going to ask why you are wearing masks then I noticed the video is 2 years old and you are in pandemic times. I hope Pauli survived the shopping - I think he did. I hate shopping and would wait for my better half in a bar but her sense of direction is poor and I wouldn’t see her again.
Well guys as I have said often love you loads... But again as I have said there our so many cruise bloggers who think they've just invited cruiseing 😂... I wish back in 1980 my first cruise experience I had the technology as now so many of you have ... I know I'm being a little critical about your videos ( not just yours but the same old group that post )... Cruising is nothing or no where near back in the high days ... I do watch your channel only because your both lovely but it's like preaching to the converted 😂... By the way I've always wanted to stay on the fingel... You are so fortunate to travel as you do ... But I've said often see you on silversea /regent sometime... 🥂
Hey guys, we are pretty used to having a Highball as a cocktail. I looked up the ingredients and there was a description of its history. I thought I'd share it: "Cocktail origin stories are sometimes difficult to sort out, and the highball falls into that category. The drink emerged in the late 1890s, and several sources indicate that bartenders in England called whiskey drinks "balls" and tall or "high" glasses were used for such drinks." The Spruce Eats. How bout dem apples? Great videos. Thanks.
Hahaha pauly you got us fooled with a good joke.... Carol been trying to get me to try adocado on toast, maybe I'll try tomorrow... (you won't be on ship?) I'm furuiosly checking a blogs cos I'm on the Ann next week! You give fantastic tips thanks
I found your English guide hard to understand as she did not enunciate very well as her Ssss were too soft. Also in Hiroshima you said you dropped your hand luggage in the lobby. I would not like that as you probably had your cameras and laptops, iPads etc in there. I know the crime rate is low there, but still. Hope all was ok. My hubby went in that Hiroshima museum, I was in too much pain to go ashore there. He said the museum was very moving, as it should be.
I found your site and absolutely love your videos. I have just started to plan my 75th birthday year of travel (2026), and am starting on the QM2 from NY to Southampton May 2026. Thank you for the insight. I will then travel Europe by land and waterway, but don't know whether or not I will return to the US on a ship.
They have an underground city like that in Toronto which is obviously good for when they get snow ! I think I would really like to visit Japan ! Great video as always x
Your vlogs are informative and so much fun to watch! I have especially enjoyed the bus tour ones because they remind me of my Collette tours of Scotland and Ireland. It's the "bags out and breakfast at 7:00 a.m. and on the bus at 8:00 a.m." that especially gives my husband and me big grins. Even though we thoroughly enjoyed both tours and what we saw, the bags out every morning for over a week was a challenge. You should win an award for the Vietnam vlogs in particular. Outstanding job!!
Really enjoying this vlog series as we're thinking of Japan for 2026. I know you can't plan the weather but it's a shame it rained so much on your trips. I was surprised there was no blossom out. The dates change every year but usually the end of March early April is a good time to see it.
