Just got a new 2024 SR5 4Runner premium in Ice Cap (07/06/24). Love the look and ride of the vehicle. Glad I grabbed one before the 2025's hit the showrooms. Enjoy your 4Runner. Great video !! Thanks !!
At least run the car through a carwash. Cannot believe the dealer would allow a reviewer to show it without a wash. That RED HOT paint color really pops when clean but this is just sad 😢 The review was pretty good though but lots of details we are left wondering about.

An increasing number of 2024 Chevy Traverse and 2024 GMC Acadia owners are reporting that their third-row seatbacks are unable to fold down because the headrests on those seats rub against the second-row seatbacks. With the headrests touching the second-row seats, the third-row seatbacks cannot fold flat into the floor, reducing the nominally available cargo space in the back of the vehicles. The General acknowledged this problem with the 2024 Chevy Traverse and GMC Acadia with Bulletin number PIT6184, issued on June 7th , 2024. GM notes that the fix for the problem is replacing the third-row headrests with new headrest components that fit properly and allow the seats to fold flat as designed. However, no replacement headrests are currently
Yea not great for towing! It’s ok for small stuff but that’s it. I feel like manufacturers don’t care too much about SUV towing capacity and automatically think people that tow will get a pickup truck or something larger
Beautiful 4R! I have an SR5P 2023 coming from 2019 TRD Off Road Premium and can honestly tell you that the SR5P runs better and have more features than my last 4R. Overall these 4R’s are bulletproof and you’ll going to have a vehicle for a looooong time!
Thank you! Thats the goal! I’m hoping that with my regular maintenance and taking care of it properly, that it will last 100’s of thousands of miles! I’ve been extremely happy so far with it, and I’m happy I got the Gen 5 instead of waiting for the Gen 6 with the 4 cylinder turbo. I’d rather have “older” tech but be bulletproof than have issues haha
Thank you!!! Yea I was surprised to see it! I didn’t know they came with the option at the time and I’ve already used it a few times. I just want to start upgrading stuff like the suspension and wheels but it’s so costly hahaha
Way too expensive. You can get a very well specced BMW x5 or Audi for what Toyota is asking for this, and the interior isn't anywhere near luxury SUV levels - way too much nasty cheap hard plastic.
Sorry but disagree regard luxury for the Audi. We test drove the 2025 Q7 and we were shocked the piano black on the passenger dash and how cheap the interior was for a 70k luxury suv.
@danieldelponte6089, agreed; however it’s got everything you may need and very capable off-roading. The only mod I would personally consider is enhancing its ground clearance.
Great review! I purchased a 2024 SR5 in February. Not an off roader. I just wanted a reliable, comfortable SUV. Your review confirms all the reasons I purchased this vehicle.
Thank you! Yea it’s the perfect middle ground I think. Keeping it stock leaves you with an extremely reliable everyday SUV and if you have any desire to modify it, the options are plentiful!
Thank you! While I do love convertibles and having that ability, I personally don’t like the soft top design. With what I have in my head visually for modifications, I don’t think it would work unless I just went for the cayman
