This game was so relentless to the point of frustration when you actually tried to make progress but playing at face value, and with a friend, it was a blast. Good stuff.
Wonderful. Thank you for playing. I loved this game as a kid. I played it in the early 90s and I must have been 6 or 7 years old. The whole controversy around Jackson wasn´t at full swing yet and the fact that you rescue children seemed totally innocent at the time. Also Chimps were seen as harmless cute critters and nobody suspected that Bubbles would someday mutate into an hormone driven, rage filled killing machine. This were different times and I loved watching you play. Thank you for the nostalgia... Also, it´s a shame that you didn´t manage to find the secret level where all the "rescued" children are locked into a dungeon and Jackson wears a panda costume.
This a painful game to play thru and understood why we didn't get a US release lol. But I still end up playing it a few year when I do the full playback of part 1-3 cuz It's all part of the history. Good play thru thou and grind on the channel. It would be good to get some additional commentary about what your fav and worst stages + why you picked the character on your play thru.
In Golden Axe 3 you take the role of Blanka, the electric Viking, who decides, that Street Fighter isn´t badass enough and goes on an adventure to maul armies of medieval soldiers. He steals apples from gnomes, liver shots tiny fat men and drop kicks bird people straight in the face. And I was there to witness it all. What a game!
Not my favourite of the series but still a classic. I remember playing this at my friends house and player 2 having to use a Sega Master System controller, the controller only had 2 buttons and the jump button also paused the game, still great fun though.
