So holding a camera the safe way so it doesn't fall or get snatched while walking is called being a "stupid tourist?" Good to know. I'd rather be safe with my camera not cute.
I never understood the argument of physical books having that “smell or touch” that I often heard about. That physical smell or that physical touch. I’m not trying to sleep with the book, I just want to read. Kindles make it easier for me to read.
My 3 Tips On How To Face The Camera! ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1️⃣: Practice makes better I hate to be the one to say but practice does make better. You’re never going to be perfect, and that’s the beauty of human nature that it will never be perfect! You have to keep practicing everything in life to get better. For some, it’ll come a lot more naturally than others 2️⃣: No flip-out screen If you’re using an actual camera that can flip out the screen only use it to check if you’re centered, and if you’re filming on your phone consider using the back camera. It is better than your front camera after all 😉 But why do I suggest this? Simple answer: You’ll be more focused on what you’re saying vs. what you look like, which will help you become better in front of the camera! 3️⃣: Outline DO NOT write out everything you want to say word for word, that rarely works. There are case scenarios where you have to say almost exactly what you wrote to the script into the camera, but you will benefit much more from having a simple outline.
I will ALWAYS prefer to edit any type of videos on my PC rather than my phone, and here are some reasons why ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ 1️⃣: Familiarity I started out editing long-form content for RU-vid where you really can’t edit on your phone. It’s definitely possible, but when I tried, I found that it was really difficult to get those precise cuts in my video and a lot of my color grading tools just aren’t available in apps like CapCut, etc. 2️⃣: Video Quality As someone who simply refuses to use my phone to record 99% of my reels, and films on my Sony ZV-10, editing higher quality footage is simply better on my PC than on my phone. 3️⃣: Customization As stated in 1️⃣, color grading is a big deal for me. It really allows me to be creative and create a unique look for my videos! Plus, all the fonts available and effects, etc. 4️⃣: File Management I just find storage to be a lot easier to manage on my PC than it is on my phone. I feel like footage gets lost a lot easier on my phone.
1️⃣: Practicality The biggest reason using a flash is so great is because it’s very practical to have! I love shooting moody and dark photos but it is not always an option to have controlled lighting and this is where a flash is a great investment in your kit! 2️⃣: Style A big reason why I hated flash photography was because it was used in a way I didn’t like, and now I’ve discovered a way that I like! 3️⃣: Idk want to name this, but Flash looks so good on people! Digital cameras are very trendy right now and they use a flash and I cannot deny that it looks great!
I agree but I'm a sucker. I brought mine everywhere and I'm old enough where I had to buy film and I spent a small fortune or should I say a large One on film and developing. I wish it were digital when I was younger. It wouldn't have saved a fortune
1️⃣: Not experimenting is one of the worst things you can do when you first start doing photography! It is really important if you ask me that you try and shoot a different variation of styles, subjects ect And why you may ask? Well it’s simple, you don’t know yet what you like to take photos of. So instead of forcing yourself to shoot only portaits even though you hate it, maybe try and go for landscape photography? You might also hate shooting digitally, and end up falling in love with film photography! The possiblities are endless with photography these days! 2️⃣: Gear = Bettter work: To an extent this is true. I defintly noticed a huge improvment in my photos when I went from a Canon 77D to my A7iii But what that said you should work with what you have and upgrade when you can / want to! 3️⃣: You don't need photo editing: This is a bit of controversioal opinoin but I don’t think digitial photos are done until they’ve been edited. There are so many things you can do in the editing process it’s abseloutly amazing, and for me taking the photos is just half the work. The raw images is my sketch for a painting whilst the editing is the final painting completed! Do you agree with this? Let me know!
4 Photography things I wish I would've known sooner 😳 4th mistake here ⤵️ 4. Only shooting portraits! Yup, that’s right! A portrait photographer telling you to not only shoot portraits! 🤯 Whilst yes my favorite thing to shoot will always be portraits, taking photos of other things in my life has helped me understand my camera better and also learn how to take better photos overall 📷 Take photos of everything! 🌱 I still recommend sticking to one main priority (Portraits, landscapes ect)
1️⃣: narrow down! I always Start by using Adobe Bridge by going through my photos, and selecting my favorites and usually, a bit more so I have options when I open Lightroom 2️⃣: Presets/editing Using Presets saves me a lot of time but… 90% of the time I still edit the photos with colorgrading, adjusting ect since Presets rarely work on their own 3️⃣: Culling down even more! As much as I want to send 150 photos I prefer having less photos to give and edit to people I generally do my rough edit and pick 1-3 photos that are roughly the same the I like from that pose ect. 4️⃣: Photoshop & exporting I've recently started to use Photoshop and I really like it! It feels like the icing on the cake for me🍰 I add blur to the highlights and nice grain ect ect Sometimes I mess with AI generative fill to either expand the photos or adding ect just depending on the photo! 5️⃣: Exporting! I save the Photoshop files to Lightroom again and export the whole gallery in the highest quality possible! Comment “EDIT” if you want a more in depth tutorial on how I like to edit! 🌱✨
The way your piercings are done it looks like the nostril piercings are just part of a large single piercing that is connected to the septum crescent :D
