Just wandering. I know gratuities are included. But was thinking of giving the room steward a tip. Is it best to do that at the start of the cruise or the end
I’m guessing at the end of the cruise to show your appreciation. They also always need toiletries and snacks as they have to buy their own on the ships which can be expensive. 👍🏻
@@PeterEvans-dw2ol Thanks for watching. There are shuttle buses at most of the ports. The exceptions I. Think were Kiel and Skagen. There are buses in Skagen to Grenen though. Hope this helps.
Hi guys have just booked our first p&o cruise for end of November this year round Spain and Portugal on the Iona , so looking forward to it . We did the fjords last year on MSC Virtuosa and it was amazing ! This will be our 4th cruise . Great to see you both ,it's been a while . Looking forward to this vlog series x

I live about a hour away i had to take my dogs.absolutely manic tho as the hill we were on was popular but that euro fighter looked like it was about to reach Mach 1 heading towards the pier 😭🤣

We're due to go on the Baltic Cruise in September with P and O on Brittania just curious is it walkable from port to the cities of Copenhagen and Helsinki were going to do the Hamburg trip when we dock in Kiel but thinking of we're right in the city of the others we don't need to book onto a tour and can make our own way - Thanks
Apologies for the late reply. This comment was held for review by RU-vid, no idea why. Helsinki you can walk but it’s a very long one to the city centre. Copenhagen, again you can walk to the centre but it is a long way to the city centre. I think your best bet is to use the shuttle service into the city centre centres, but if you’re not planning to go to the city centre then you can walk around the area close to the ship. The mermaid statue in Copenhagen is fairly close to where the ships dock. Hope this helps. Have a wonderful cruise!!
Vigo is a wonderful city! It has so much more to offer than you managed to see. I live in the city and you saw hardly any of it. I wish the cruise ships would take cruise ships passengers on a proper tour of the city and its surrounds. I hope you did enjoy your time here.
@@JT-qr4ws Hi. Thank you for watching. Most cruise companies lay on bus tours of the destinations, plus there are always independent ones to use as well. We chose not to and just walk around and see what we could in the limited time we had. But it is definitely a wonderful Spanish city.
It's always so nice to see how other people experience the country you live in. And things we just take for granted becomes a special thing for visitors. And also makes us appreciate what we have. Your video is nicely made, and more like how ordinary people experience our capital. 😁

We had to get a shuttle bus from where the ship berthed to the bus station. Takes about 10 to 15 mins depending on traffic. Pretty sure this is the only option to passengers.

Hi Julie. It was from the 9-16th December 2022. Everywhere we visited was festively decorated, and so was Iona, especially the Atrium. Hope this helps. ☺️
