"They come for the gore, but they get history". Such an apt description of Blood Quantum. Also, a great interview with Michael Greyeyes, who is a truly amazing actor and representative of the indigenous community
I've just got onto this movie, having time now 2 watch it .. i feel guilty, as im a huge fan of Michael Greyeyes huge ✨️🙌 Only due life getting in the way 🫶 All the way from Australia 🇦🇺 🙌
Sorry dude but longlegs was first, to long. 2nd, the story make absolutely no sense, like you being a good movie reviewer & 3rd it has hardly any Nicolaus Cage in the movie, maybe 15 mins worth! You my friend are a terrible movie reviewer!
Saw fisherman's friends love the movie love the sequel to he is an outstanding actor and very much so is he well deserved for any award that they will give him and I think they should give him an award❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I watched the kitchen last week & it was boring. If there was anything I can take away from that movie, its "I'm glad I wasn't a selfish, crap Father like the dude in the movie was" The ending was also a WTF ending! 🤷♂
You praise movies old peeps like & movies I'd fall asleep too dude! The movies you shoot down are the movies the GENERAL population wants to see all the time!🙄
I'm sorry dude but Leave the world behind was a huge disappointment, the ending didn't make sense! Taking medication for an unknown sickness is kind of silly too!
Just love this gentle and beautiful man I do! This was the best interview with James Purefoy I have seen .. totally lovely .. James is so down to earth .. he makes so much sense .. and when he talks about his family.. so clear it is how much he loves them .. Have followed James for many years .. he is quintessential and indomitable as an actor .. with an amazing range.. he is enigmatic and chameleonic., able to be anyone he chooses .. and make you love him while doing it .. James Purefoy's best qualities are his honesty.. his humility.. and his compassion for those who share this planet with him .. and what a joy he brings to those who know him .. and love him ., Fisherman's Friend is the role that is closest to who James is in real life to me .. he is a gentle, kind and selfless man .. who cares about others ,. And is not ashamed to show it .. And James Purefoy is way beyond beautiful❣ Jen999💙
Thanks for this interview. Music is my passion both classical and modern. For me Mike Scott is one of the most intelligent and natural musicians/song writers of our time. He remains true to his art and knows how to profoundly ‘listen’ to his muse. Immersed in the moment he takes us on committed, sonorous journeys breaking boundaries to dance in the freedom of untrodden musical landscapes and feelings. ‘The Big Music’ is a stroke of genius, I understand it…. I live under The Big Sky. Thank you Mike Scott for all your hard work and for being true to who you are, not easy. “Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy, it is the wine of a new procreation, and I am Bacchus who presses out this glorious wine for men and makes them drunk with the spirit". Beethoven
20 some views?! Like ..whaaaaaat??? Your content is so underrated, I just don't get it! Love your reviews and looking forward to hear you back as a radio host! Ksenija
1:09 I've always loved your attitude, Richard, but I must say that in my own experience, most 'happy' movies are deeply stupid aesthetically and intellectually, and the best movies tend strongly to be quite dark or negative in thematic terms. There Will Be Blood, Apocalypse Now, The Trial, Lessons of Darkness, No Country for Old Men, Mandy, Nuestro tiempo or almost any film by Kubrick, Tarkovsky, Scorsese or many more of the greatest film-makers (not to mention novels by almost any of the great authors) show with a burning intelligence how dark the world often is, and the brilliance of these works invariably energizes me and brightens my eye. Seeing that there exists true human intelligence in the world, and recognition of humanity's failures, makes me more happy than almost anything else I could name. And there are dreadfully few cheerful movies I've seen that didn't make the world feel darker and more claustrophobic afterwards. I see a poisonous blindness in them; the same terrible emptiness that Herzog sees in the smiles of beauty pageant celebrities.
In isolation 🙄 He didn't stop traveling for long but that didn't stop him posting that cringe vid with Jana obnoxiously crunching potato chips and making disgusted faces at people who traveled to see loved ones during this pandemic. He's not an essential worker but he traveled to film and I bet he's taken his family on vacations. Just a hypocrite. He also supports the trans agenda which is removing safeguards for women and children meant to protect us from predatory males. That makes him a predator too.
What year was Gordon born and did he have a formal education in music or art and why did his family travel between Germany and Canada what was his family's background and their vocation?
