But why did you do the scrape with the metal utensil at the end? Is this to signify that I could also do that? Is the unlimited layer - metal utensil resistant?
It's a load of rubbish. You're basically getting steamed meat. I've got one and I'm giving it away. And when it comes to the chicken if you do have chicken breast just end up with dry rubber with hard bits on the top.

TEFAL makes LOVELY and durable and well performing cookware in FRANCE, whereas their CHINA made stuff sucks, peels, handles come loose and they leach a nasty chemical smell when they get too hot WHEREAS the French made stuff rocks. Helpful to note when buying TEFAL get the real stuff not the "licensed to use TEFAL name in China" garbage.
I use Tefal smart technology Iron( smart product) in India and I find the automatic Temperature setting rather Low and not enough to remove wrinkles in Cotton and even Synthetic mens trousers Can we increase temperature setting, pls advise..
What a load of sheizer. Lasts 2 years longer then what, teflon? One graph goes down at four years then the other line stays at the top after eight years? Such a nonsense graph & claims.
I bought mine 2 days ago and I filled it with water to the max line and I had it down on the iron plate as I was preparing to unwind the cable so I could plug it in the socket. Moments later the water all came out of the hot plate holes. Is this normal? After a while I managed to conjure enough fortitude and courage to turn the iron on and when I was using it it made no sound at all as if it wasn’t even plugged in. Is this normal?
I live in Florida and I wish we could find the original model steam iron in the U.S. and not one made in China. Where can we find a store in the U.S. that sells a selection of steam irons not made in China? Any suggestions? Thank you
