These are so awesome!! I know you for sure no longer have/make these, but jealous. Found this while trying to fix the switch on my power pcb -- seems like lots of folks had it break on them, which, Yikes lol. I love the customization on these.
I don't make them anymore. Didn't have much intrest when I had them for sale as at the time the case was new. Loads of work and effort went into the design too
This vid would have been far more informative if more care and time was taken. What he has done is removed the 5ghz Antenna probably a Netgear and Blue in colour and attached to the board the Ext 5ghz Ariel pigtail , the 2.4ghz is still attached to the board, would have been better to attach a 2.4ghz which is a smaller length, they are not inter changeable and wont work if fitted wrongly on the board. I would fit both while I'm at it.
I have an acre back yard and my netgear router has internal antennas. I'm going to do your mod and install 2 external omnidirectional wifi antennas outside to get a boosted signal everywhere for my wifi cameras. Thanks for the simple antenna connection video. I've seen that antenna in PC's and routers but never did buy this adapter you mentioned. Amazon is more trusted to buy but cheaper on ebay. I'd put 2 on any router, especially 2.4 and 5g models. Just my 3 cents.
