Imo, Ichiran is popular abroad cuz 1st it's introvert friendly this concept is unique to most of us 2nd you can customise your ramen like noddles, broth consistency , toppings etc etc . Thats all i can think of as of now
I will be landing in 7 days! Osaka has the Icoca IC card if you land there and I'm told they have a tourist only Fujin/Raijin card now and it looks amazing! You can get Suica on IPhone and Japanese versions of Android. Sad to hear about the limitations put on Mnt. Fuji but I took Yoshida trail last year and I can see why it had to be done. Its always funny to hear about "high temps" then its the average temp where I live! Humidity is a bunch higher thou so that adds to the yuk. See you all soon!!
I hope in the future, all vending machines in japan will get updated to accept IC Card payment. When I was at the haneda airport, some people from the countryside in japan near me where suprised that you could buy things at vending machines just by holding your phone to it

Just got back and can say its hotter than a cow on fire. Wife and I are fit and love the outdoors so we are fine. Was nice less tourism. Kyoto malls are loads of locals but I wonder are many young people leaving there countryside homes and moving to big cities in Japan? Why is that?
I am planning on traveling to Japan in November and I am super excited! The whole situation with IC cards is so confusing. I am afraid I won't be able to get a welcome Suica card when I get there. 😅
Why do this? Japanese people are complaining about foreign tourists. Why promote your country to more people and have them face the anger of your compatriots and also make your compatriots angry?
Wherever you will go by plane I recommand to bring something to get your luggage weight...cause you might be surprised after guyings stuffs at the end ^^
Hi Ono and to everyone who's watching has been to Japan recently! Traveling in first week of August this year (2024). Would you guys have an update on whether they were able to restock/reissue IC cards? Coming from Narita Airport. Thanks!
Some great info here, I am currently in Japan and yes it is hot both day and night! I managed to get a normal Pasmo IC card at Haneda airport. We were attempting to go to a fireworks festival but the closer we got the busier and slower it got. Given again the heat and the fact we were in amongst (by this time) thousands of people we decided to to turn around and give it a miss - it probably would have taken many hours to get a train back from here after the display!
if you come to Japan right now you better think twice because now is really not a great time, it is unbearably hot. come in october when the country is a bit cooler. that or go to Hokkaido. Sapporo is actually a great city, worth a visit.
What about fireworks matsuri?? You don't get them in October you get them now and that's all. It's an experienxe you cannot miss it will make your Japan trip!
@@andrepaiva6654 If you don't have it included, yes. I think most oversea flights have 2 pieces of larger luggage included. It's just easier and safe to handle than having an empty suitcase to check in and carry around when you arrive 😄
Ono I really like watching your content!! No matter how many views your video get you put efforts into making this videos and keeping up with the new information to help your viewers! Bless you ✨
Those deer are eating almost everything that you carry with you. I fed one deer with a cracker from my right hand while suddenly realising, that another deer was trying to eat the food, that I brought with me, in a plastic bag, from my left hand. You have to be carfull. ^^
Thanks for your videos! ❤ perhaps you could make a travel recommendation video on where i should go during my 15 days travel to Japan? 😋✌️ cheers from 🇨🇭
Thanks, useful tips!!!Just a question: to recharge SUICA in a konbini one should use the "general purpose paying machine" or the ATM (if present)? Are they the same machine or different ones?
Thank you ! I have a question My friend came to Japan in 2019 and managed to get a green suica card (the old one), can i still use it in Japan in 2024 ?
I have been to Japan 10+ times in the last 10 years. With these changes, including the price of the JR Pass, I don't think I can go to Japan as often as I did. Sad.
Thanks for your video! Kyoto is now flooded with tourists. Queues will be started ever since I arrive at Kansai😂. Hope it will be better in the coming September.
Thank you Sir! I was worried,l had bought 900,000 Yen in OLD Banknotes for my week in Tokyo in March and was quite worried about not having new notes but you have reassured me that there is no time limit on these old notes,PHEW!!! I will subscribe to you and like in thanks.
