that was an awesome wooden coaster i struggle so much building these in planet coaster but ive only been playing for 2 week you have just inspired me to get on the game and build a beast of a wooden coaster
I’ve been interested in these for a while, I have ridden el toro and that’s the only prefab I’ve ridden. Definitely a good video, impressive coaster, great build.
Two completely different piece of software... while PC is more of a game, NL2 is almost an engineer grade coaster building tool... Its like saying, you can model your coaster in a cad software, why playing PC...
Points out the safety nets on the tracks, and they are not just part of the lunch section ether. :) Now if only they give us the tools for making custom supports easier. Just a way to snap objects to the tracks main spline would do wonders for us. ;)
What a hilariously misleading title. I mean kudos to the devs behind that little Unity program, but manually building a coaster meter by meter isn't "importing" shit. Has Planet Coaster's "fcompressedsave_blueprint" file format seriously not been reverse engineered and documented? Pretty much every step of this should be able to be automated. Also fwiw the number array you're copying from the NL2 logs is in tab-separated value (.tsv), not comma-separated value (.csv) format.
@@coastercreations9415 Not only that, he is just a random hater which thinks he is important and points out mistakes nobody cares about. Me, a software developer make constantly mistakes when explaining things by not using the "1000% right terms", because, no one cares if its a csv or tsv since its just a different separator for the same format, everyone knows what you mean...
Sometimes it's good to call a project finished, too! It looks like you have a had a great time, and I am sure you will come back to view the park and build new parks with PC2, too!
There is a time when you are just finished with a park. You did good. It was a long long run and this park is a masterpiece. I have great respect for the hard work you put into this and I love tuning in and seeing updates. I am sorry to see it go. But I look forward to the future. Lets collaborate sometime! I joined your discord as Jason and I will definitely be downloading this park to just enjoy. Maybe some day I can spotlight it? Take care and (raises glass) here is to the future.
Apart from the first drop absolutely amazing job the pacing is so good also a great idea to use the classic wooden coaster track that looks really good gotta start using that on my gci’s as well!
not really much of an import This seems more time consuming than just building it in Planet Coaster. what would be great is if this program had a plugin that would talk to planet coaster, and as you switch to each node in NL2PC that it would just build that part in the track builder at that point it would seem a little more useful
A thing i like to do after ive done this process is to remove 3 pieces of 4m track at a time and then autocomplete them so it becomes a 12m piece with the same smoothness as before!
