Yep, i went up there a couple days ago and its just sad. 😢 ... so sad all the destroyed houses and businesses. Okies are built of Steel and determination- Sulphur will recover and rebuild, but it wont be the same. 😪 Oklahomas RU-vid community showed up to help out with the clean up in a pretty big way- Much appreciation to all who came!
We've had a couple of wet years back here in California. Lake Oroville is near 95% as is Shasta. You're not missing much here when it comes to ocean kayak fishing. The state restricted last seasons near shore and salmon fishing. Looks like we might be allowed a short near shore season this year, but once again no salmon fishing. I'll be stuck with fresh water kayak fishing. Stay dry and safe travels.
The first step should be " Pull the two hinge pins " then disconnect the pull cord on the right side, then wiggle the door off. I wonder how many people broke their glove box door trying to remove it the way you show ???????????
I'm 67, buy first time sit-on-top kayak for older people (RTM Makao) and this video is a one for me to practice in the water. Thanks for it and greetlings from the Netherlands
That looks so fun. I'm jealous. How secure do you feel in the vibe? I want one for the Saint johns in fl, but with the huge gators and it being really low to the water it makes me a little nervous.
That's would be great I now live 6 hours from th Gulf of Mexico hope to get some Shark fishing soon in Texas waters... I'm rigged up for Alligator Gar right now for Texas and Oklahoma... I'm going to make some new videos for those big fish plus Big Blue, and flathead Catfish... hope all is well with you
What do you think of a closed cockpit out on there? I think I would have to use an anchor. I'm trying to figure out how to fish that from a 12 foot closed cockpit, no rudder, just paddles. What are you wearing too? I'm thinking I can get away with new Simms stocking foot, a semi dry top, layers, with the vest and I should be ok if I go over? I'm super new at this and trying to target what I need for this area. Also, you should probably know it's illegal to fly where you are due to State Park rules of taking off and landing drones within the park. I know the FAA rules say we can fly wherever, but the Park itself does have no drone rules which suck as its a very cool place and I'd love to explore it. I found out the hard way, after some amazing shots that I almost posted. I failed to check before I flew, and it's one of the very few on the entire state that limit drones due to the reserve, at least is the posted reason. The rangers would likely just tell you to shut it down I think, but if you are anything beyond a hobbyist they might report to FAA and they could still ticket you, though I don't think it would stand up in court. I'm not going to try it though. You can fly Bastendorf is the closest.
