Thank you! Ford does not provide this instruction, they only address what to do with keyless start. Thank you very much for taking the time to share this!
@janesca54 thanks for watching this video. You are not alone in your feelings regarding the fuel indicator. As far as I can tell, that is one display that cannot be changed. If I find a way to change the display, I will be sure to post a new video. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for sharing that but I am seriously disappointed that you don't have a few different options of how the tach and speedometers are displayed. Mercedes is away ahead of Lincoln in this regard.
@jh748 thanks for your comments. If I find that I missed something and there are other ways of displaying this information, I will be sure to make and post another video. Thanks for watching.
@SkeptikToast glad to hear that I was able to help you find the information you were looking for. I try to be informative and helpful. Thanks for watching.
I am so glad that you are doing this video! I just bought my 2024 Ford Maverick and since it doesn’t come with a printed manual, it makes it difficult to look up my questions. 90% of the videos on RU-vid that have to do with this vehicle or peoples opinions on whether or not it was a good vehicle to buy. Since I already made that decision I don’t need their opinions. I need information. So this has been truly helpful and I appreciate you putting it together.
@Yvetteeee2012 Glad that you liked my video and that you found it to be informational and helpful. That is what I am trying to do. Thanks for watching.
Mine 2023 lincoln nautilus only worked for one month I bought to service. They said i dont drive too much thats why it dont work..I reported to corporate
Good video Jim. We just bought a gently used 2024 Edge Titanium. So many new options to learn now compared to our 2012 Dodge Journey!! You have a new subscriber!!
@ChrisR57 thank you. I am glad to hear that you liked this video and found it to be helpful. That is what I am trying to do. Enjoy your Edge. Thanks for watching and subscribing.
@downhillgroovy5859 since your gas door opens automatically there is no need for a video. With the Lincoln requiring an extra step to open, that is why I posted this video.
Thanks! I recently bought a 2023 and was wondering how to get the HUD to show up. Mines a Loaded Reserve without the Dynamic Handling. So I'm support to get the Ambient lighting. But it never works. Is there some setting I have to enable to get it to work? I've gone into the Pad and selected the colors and move them each all the way up. But no colors ever appear in the car. The only time I ever see a light is when I enter or leave and it's only illuminating the rocker plate and a slight light up of the ring in the cup holders. But it's just a bright white.
I also have a 2024 Ford Escape ST Line. Is there any way to keep the radio on for more than 10 minutes without the engine running? In my 2010 Fusion, I could do this just by turning the key one click forward, and it wouldn't be in full accessor mode, but the radio stayed on. In my 2024 Escape, everything shuts down after 10 minutes, in full accessory mode. With everything off, I can hit the power button, and the radio comes on, but again, for only 10 minutes. One of the things I like to do is just lay back and listen to the radio in my car. I have the same type of screen shown here.
@Nhamp2000 to the best of my knowledge unless you actually start the vehicle, the power accessory mode will just stay on for 10 minutes. I guess Ford is trying to make sure you do not drain the battery prematurely.
@doggiesable1 the reverse sensing system should start making warning signals when you are 6 feet away from an object. As you get closer, the beeps should increase in frequency. Then when you get within a foot of the object, it should switch from beeps to a long continuous alarm sound until you either hit the object or take the vehicle out of reverse.
@@JimBrickellEdLearnFordLincoln i must have something turned off because that is not working for me ?? I will take it back to the ford center and ask about that , I have 2024 , even taking of my seat belt off to try the alarm is a problem .
@@doggiesable1 here is a link to a new video showing how to turn the reverse park assist on and off. ru-vid.combxySXx3PPVc?feature=share Let me know if this takes care of your issue.
@@JimBrickellEdLearnFordLincoln I just got back from the ford dealer and now I know that not all broncos come with the back up senscor , camara only , so that solves my problem . That would be worth mentioning on your vlog , if I had known I would have bought that feature .
@carolinesmith1411 what you are describing is the power accessory delay. When you shut the engine off, the accessory power stays on, so you can put the windows or finish listening to a song on the radio. This will go off when you open the driver door.
@thomasjacques5286 thanks for watching my video and asking a question. The Explorer XLT in both 2023 and 2024 have Navigation as an available option. It is part of the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist+ . This becomes part of the standard equipment in the higher trim levels of ST-Line, Timberline, Limited, Platinum and ST. (I am giving the information for the Canadian market, it is possible that equipment packages are different in the States.)
@nursebrooks3237 I am glad to hear that you liked my video and that you found it to be helpful. Please share it with your friends who have a Lincoln. Enjoy your Lincoln!
@@shawnpitman876 prefix: this entire comment is assuming you also live in the US All kei car legal for import are a minimum of 24 years old, and if you're looking at something used the same options exist here for stuff without all the dumb bells and whistles, new kei cars will have plenty of the same electrics put in them at this point. Also lots of states have baned or are in the process of banning them (stupid in my opinion but I don't make the rules) Used vehicles you have to import and may not even be able to register in your state or may have your registration revoked at a later date because they changed the laws, and only has a top speed of generally 55mph is not a good alternative to a new vehicle that can hit interstate speed limits
@@jaykoerner Sounds like you want bells and whistles to me. You're demanding a high power car and acting like you want just a functional car. A Kei car and the ability to go 55MPH is more than functional enough to do anything you need to unless you're needing to tow, in which case the car you described wouldn't work either.
@@shawnpitman876 I don't want any car or truck, I'm a motorcycle rider(I literally don't have a license for a car, the closest thing I can legally drive is a 3 wheeled vehicle since I never took to driving test) Also the ability to go the speed limit on all roads in the US is a fairly big one(hence why I have a cheap 650cc and really don't see the point in anything bigger, vehicles should be able to go 90 miles per hour, 75 +15 miles per hour for passing and the react to road hazards anything more is pointless, smaller vehicles are fine though since they have there uses), and you ignored every other point the 55 miles per hour is a fairly minor point compared to them all being used and illegal in a large amount of states
Thanks, but we're all realizing, some of us later than others, that Ford products are the least trusted vehicles being sold. Their quality has hit new lows.
@ThomasRobertsonn thanks for your comment. I have made another video to show you how to change the odometer from km to miles. Here is the link ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JU2mpAh3FVE.html
@wood4902 in 2019 the Lincoln Nautilus was available with an option called Ultra Comfort Seats with Active Motion. These seats came with 22-way power which included 4-way adjustable headrest and power thigh extenders. They also had the massage feature. A very nice option to have in your vehicle. It had to come that way from the factory, it was not available as a dealer install.
@@Wood490 if you are in Ontario, I do have this one available with the 22-way seats including thigh extenders www.edlearnford.com/used/vehicle/2020-lincoln-nautilus-reserve-id13218814.htm
@WillowWilliams-yy3ti Sorry to hear that your salesperson did not go over your new Maverick with you. I am glad that you found my video and that you found it to be helpful. That is why I make these videos. Enjoy your Maverick!
@MeasurableEffects "I did say when you turn off the engine" LOL I have been selling vehicles for 35 years, which until very recently all had engines. Old habits die hard. Thanks for catching me on this one, I will try to remember to say "turn off the e-motors" next time.
Jim, what’s the name of the item you mentioned on this video that you can attach to the latch to move the upper back seat? You said it’s available on Amazon. Thanks in advance.
